Hey guys first grow - White Widow <3 Really need help

Hey guys.
Experienced gardener here, but new to growing herb. I am day 25 into my first indoor pot grow, and I have a journal documenting it. The journal link is in my signature.
I have a couple issues right now - spider mites, and the question of when to FIM and swith to the flowering cycle.

hot shot strips will kill mites. FIM is supposed to occur early into veg... do you mean LST? you can LST any time... just start tying the plant down. topping? you can top too any time, just cut the head off. clone the head.

Your journal leads toa blog... blogs don't exactly invite comments throughout. you'd be better off starting a thread in the grow journals section.

I actually just F.I.Med one of my plants and topped another one.. they're both 25 days old. I was thinking of LSTing but since I did the other techniques I'll just leave it at that =)

You want a minimum of two weeks after FIMing before switching to 12/12 to fully take advantage of the technique.
