hexane extraction

I am curious if anyone has had any experience with hexane concentrate. I met a fellow patient who claims it is full melt and he does it like you would iso extraction. When I got some from him he had already globbed it on a bud so I couldn't see if it was full melt. Any input/experience with this?

its harder to purge off than iso, so he better have the right equipment, like a vacuum chamber for starters, or there may be residual solvent.

We do Hexane extracts. As noted, it is harder to purge than butane or alcohol.

All oil extracts should be full melt. That term was coined for hash (harvested trichomes), which still has some plant material remaining in it.

Hey thanks that answers my questions. So far I have only made iso and dry ice hash and was just interested if it was worth doing it with hexane over isopropyl alcohol. Last time I got seven grams of iso out of one oz sugar leaf. Looking for maximum yeild extractions ;)
