Hermie stressed or just a Hermie?

Hey i was wondering if there is anyway to tell if you have a stressed hermie or if its just an ordinary hermie.....

i was pretty sure i have a stressed hermie because of inconsistant lighting times .....it was an outdoor grow and i tried covering it (i got a bit impatient).

So now i got seeds that could be feminised or just a hermie and i planted one but i dont wanna get another hermie if its wasnt stressed.

Should i just buy a feminised seed?

Dont risk it, get new feminised seeds. If a hermie produces seeds that you use, the new plant will more than likely turn hermie at some point in growth, or be more apt to turn hermie or male. If it is a good strain, keep the hermie and collect pollen to make seeds or cross breeds.

do u know of any good seedbanks that are successful to post to australia/ in australia
or are there any aussies who have bought from a seedbank and recieved

Pick and mix strains and buy one seed of each strain they offer. Decent prices.

cut off the balls if they dont grow back it hrmied due to stress if they do grow back they are natural hermies

cool man thanks heaps for that .....i just ordered some seeds ...pretty cheap ones though but i dont really care much. thai x skunk. hopefully there good and actually make it to me

if it has a full male flower, meaning anthers and like a little umbrella then it's a true hermie.

but if it's just anthers (pollen sac) then it's just light stressed.

whether it's stressed or hermied ...cut it ..I mean it man.. I just had the same problem .. picked every banana i found. I'm guessing mine hermied due to stress. Improper lighting. But my plants near the end of their flowering ended up seeding. had to pull the whole grow down early. If you have other plants I say get rid of it.. I didn't want to listen when people were telling me to do it. Then I decided upon advice from RIU to just pick the bananas. BAD IDEA. If you want to continue your grow. take that thing out. CLEAN EVERYTHING. You won't know it fucked up your plants until you see them sprouting seeds one day.. and then more the next day.. GET IT OUT. forgive me if it seems harsh but i will try to never make the same mistake again
