I have a chocolope in my tent also. I didn't want to run the risk of pollinating it and ruining it's crop also. I took the plant to a friends house and gave him my old 400w light to finish it off. Hopefully he doesn't kill it. I think the stretch is just about over, so as long as he waters it properly and keeps the temps in line I think he will get about the same yield from it

perfectly trained!! why not keep her and if u get seeds their feminized?
Trust me if I had one plant going I would have. That thing was a beauty. It pains me to leave it with someone who hasn't read much on growing. He has it in a small closet, and I'll be checkin in on it every couple days, I'll share some updates from it.

the seeds wouldnt be feminized
pollen sacks on female plant= feminized or hermy seeds depending on why the pollen sack came to be...it call comes down to if it was pollen produced by stress or if it was a herm to begin with, and in my opinion stress is the case 9 out of 10 times.. some plants are just sensitive, a little to much or to little of this or that and she produces pollen in that case they are feminized just very finicky..other plants,,, the ones we like in our gardens need to be stressed heavily to herm, and some wont herm w/out sprays.. i had a nl i tried everything to stress out pollen, light dep, over/under nutes, ph imbalances, even left it in flower for 115 days,,never a banana or pollen sack, then used a clone w/ coildal silver and pollen was produced..

The Vortex plant I'm growing produces nanners that show up at around day 42 -usually right at the tip of each cola. I catch most of them and have only found one seed after harvest (sneaky bastard!). They scare me a little bit when they appear, but the smoke of this particular phenotype is way off the charts good and I feel that a few nanners are worth the risk for my personal use. The plant doesn't really produce a lot of buds, but the calyxes are freakishly huge and the thing goes through a whole array of stinky smells as it ripens. The last time I ran it, I let to go 70 days and it still showed a lot of clear trichomes. So, this time, I'm going to let it go to the point I see nothing but milk and amber. The smell/flavor is indescribable.

The funny thing about the Vortex is that another friend of mine said he grew it and had the same problem with nanners, too. I guess it's just a common trait of some of TGA's genetics -or so I've been told. Plants that produce nanners would of course be a disaster in a commercial operation…but, trust me on this…..I see a LOT of dispensary bud that has nanners. I see a few immature seeds, too. Ironically, they are also often the strongest and best-tasting strains of all.

Having grown for a short while now, I'm no longer as impressed by a lot of dispensary bud as I used to be.
