Hermie? And how long left?

ok, spent half hour building nice post describing my grow and tab got closed, so fuck it, summary...

1 lady about 4 months old, 2 months into flower
under 4x23W CFLs (3x2700K, 1x6500K)
18"x18"x4' cabinet

Anyways, originally was gonna post asking for some advice on an ETA for this, then had a pic that made me wonder if its gone hermie.

And lastly, after those pics, how long do you think I have left??? Im thinking at least 2 weeks for the buds shown here (upper buds, will harvest them first, then let the undergrowth finish up)

geez...another 4 weeks? this is a long as strain, glad ive got quicker ones going after this.

and what about hermie? I tried to circle the spot in the first pic but its small. It prolly wont stop me from finishing it but Ill need to move it to make sure it doesnt affect the younger girls.

dude....you need to study about theses plants...you have a whole forum....you should know from the time she shows sex....you have 8-11 weeks depending on strain...not just when you switch 12/12...that bitch is at least 4 weeks

Those pistols sometimes can look like a nanner but to me she looks fine. Looks like your in week 5 of flowering but you said 2 months? already and you had 2 months of veg? She should be a big plant? Looking good otherwise.

Too be honest, its a unknown bag seed. Wasnt gonna waste good seeds on first real grow (not counting back in college leaving the one on the counter in the bathroom with light on as a grow...lol)

But if you think you know what it is, Id be curious and would let you know if the quality/taste matches.

She showed sex before she was put into flower (whole reason she was put fully into flower).

Yea, I wasnt sure and wanted to double check...

Dropped in late sept??/early oct?? She should be bigger but started with shitty lighting (area too large, not enough lights) for first month or so then gave her a second month under many lights in her own box til she showed sex (start of december), then moved to "flower box" which is sealed from outside light. Been in flower since 12/4/2011, so just under...about 7 weeks I guess

ya bro i would have to agree that u have about least 4 weeks to go. when the buds ripen, the pistils will dry and turn red, the calyxes will swell up like there are seeds in them, and the trichomes will turn milky white, the amber. having said this, u should not use pistil color or calyx size as indicators for harvest time. trichome color is what yr looking for when determining ripeness. once the tric start turning amber, its time to harvest.

as for the herm, i couldnt tell from the pics. just watch the suspected areas for further development. they might be calyxes, not bananas.

Edit: 2 months into flower is quite a bit, must be a sativa dom.

Sounds good. Yea, I know about the pistils changing, just dunno what to expect about the time it takes from where Im at til then. Thanks mate!

So its been a week since I started this and since I got a lot of appreciated feedback I thought I would keep you updated on the lady. Here's some pics of the top cola...

She has grown a shit-ton in a week! I have pulled the lights all the way to the top and have had to put a rush on my new box I was building. Gotta try and finish it this weekend so I can move her. She went from 30 inches (pot and plant) to almost 48 inches since being in flower and is still going!! I know the quality is gonna suffer due to me adjust constantly during her growth as I learned more. But Im just happy to be successful :-D




Will try to update once a week until its finished! Any questions/comments/concerns are more than appreciated!!!!

She's just finished week 11 in flower, after 8 weeks of veg. This is turning into one old bitch. She better be as good an ole lady as Betty White :-D

Considering its a bag seed, if she fits the bill, Ill name her that :-D
