Hermaphrodite?

Okay so I have a plant its like 6 weeks into flowering and I have what I think is male (bananas) parts formed on a few buds. I couldn't really see them in pics so I plucked one of them off and took pics. Are these hermie parts, and if so can I just keep plucking them off if any form and let my plant go a couple more weeks?

Those could be false seed pods that end up filling with resin too. This late in the game, leave them. Your females wouldn't have time to seed up anyways if you are 6 weeks into flowers.

Try getting some pics of nodes, not the tops of the flowers. Male flowers (pollen sacs) aren't going to show up in your buds, unless your flowers have engulfed the entire stem. Look carefully at the nodes of the plant for sacs. If necessary, use a camera in macro mode.

i think u are correct and from what i have read u can pick off the bananas to minimize pollination
Okay man thanks. The bananas are still immature and just beginning to be noticeable so I'll keep them under control. None of them have opened up yet but I'd say there is some minimal pollination. I'll let it go another 2 weeks and call it an early harvest.

Okay cool thanks for the advice. I only plucked a couple and there aren't that many so I'll just let it go.

Yea the only camera I have is my iphone camera so its hard to get real close up shots. I checked the node areas like you said Serapis and I couldn't find any seed balls. The buds have taken over a lot of the stem but I found it in a few places and no balls. The only thing I've found are these "banana" things so I think I'll just let it go for another 2-3 weeks and call it a early harvest. Thanks guys!

This isnt entirely true...you dont even want the plants to start FORMING them, you will have a bunch of little white ball-things poppin out of your buds...and it can make your plants seriously stress out and try to produce the seeds in a hurry, meaning quality of the buds will go down hill - and they wont get as big because they are focused on seed production instead of flowers bulking up, and the smell could seriously take a turn for the worse. Plain water also works to keep the pollen levels down, so I would suggest a light spray, just fan them to avoid mold about 30 minutes after spraying...BTW those aren't false seed pods, the shape would look like a tear drop instead - those are late onset balls. Get rid of them VERY CAREFULLY. Dont touch more of the plant and flowers than absolutely necessary.
