first of all this is my first time on here so hello to everyone,
im on my first grow (indoor soil) i bought 10 fem white widow seeds all 10 of these germinated in about a week. i veged them until they were 2ft tall then put them under a 600w hps. i switched them to 12/12 three weeks ago ive just noticed two of them have both male and female flowers on them ive taken them away from the other females, have i messed up this grow completely by not seeing these two plants sooner,

please help
thanks a million

Did the pollen release yet? thats how it seeds the crop, if the balls haven't opened yet you are probably going to be ok.

are you sure your grow area is lightproof? one of the most common ways to make a hermie is to have light leaking into your room when its in the 12 hr dark cycle.

yeah i noticed a little light coming in about three or four days into flowering
i sorted this out straight away but i think the damage has already been done
because some of the male flowers had already opened while they were
still in with the rest of the plants

Keep going bro, even a seedy plant can be smoked, Also not every bud got pollinated ( Probably) so you should still be ok. It might not have anything to do with light leakage though, femenized seed has a bad rep for growing hermies. 30% of all my fem seed cam out hermies and i have no leaks at all.

thanks a lot (no drama) i feel alot better now with that news, ill keep going so,
once it can still be smoked its not all doom and gloom,it cant be any worse than the shit im paying a fortune for at the moment, one more thing is it true i can tell the sex early when in veg by covering a single branch with something and not letting any light at this branch on 12/12 for a few weeks. thanks again

post some pics for christ sakes....and I alway watch tv at night and light alway tends to leak but since theres no ventilation just windows i have to compromise them..... however none of the them turned herm...just do your best and if posible get rid of the herms, kill em, or put em outside.

You don't have to kill hermies, if you take a wet paper towel you can pinch the sacks/balls off. the wet towel keeps the pollen from exploding all over, another thing you can try is sometimes the male parts only show up on the bottom stems, if thats the case just cut those stems off and watch the other colas diligently looking for male parts to pinch off. My current grow has 3 hermies , I have pinched off the pollen and am almost to harvest, NONE of my main colas has gone to seed. A few of the lower ones with the plant way in the back has all the lower branches seeded already, so I just left it that way. Might grow out those seeds someday and see how it goes. for now I will only be cloning my other 100% female non hermy plants.

If the plant grew as a Herman then look out for your Fems',but if it started out a female and then turned Herman then the pollen isn't potent;in other words the plant is shooting blanks because it was originally a Fem. Now if the plant was a fem and turned Herm because of poor cultivation practices, then at the most you will have feminisied seeds.

i think i will get rid of these two plants after looking more closely at them
there are alot of these sacs on the plants here and there but not too many have open i dont know how i did not see this many sooner i saw a few but i thought the female hairs would appear from them ah well you live and learn what about this covering a single branch up 12/12 does this work can you tell the sex by doing this

I dont know man its your call.....me personally I thought i had a herm....but it looked more male than female....i chopped the balls but they grew back immediatly....its alot of work chopping balls.... neways we need pics to give you are expert opinions... im not an expert however its better to clone the mothers and chop the herms... when in doubt killem.

i got my seed out of a batch of smoke n now its 6 ft tall and 3 weeks in2 flowering, i noticed its balls to and gather its a herm...gutted..first time i'm havin a do but i'm gonna keep goin wiv it, i changed the light cycle now from 12/12 to 14/8 to quicken the process before it gets pollenated properly, am i doin this right????
