Root growth for what?
I'm going to let the plants keep growing past the point I should top them at the 4th node, so when I do top them I'm getting more stem and at least another set of leaves on the cutting. I am them going to dip the 'topped' cutting into some rooting solution and hope that it takes. If it does then I'll go from two plants to two point five (2.5)

Everything is looking good bro! I've been on some serious lst shit with my babies! I'll have some new pics tonight or tomorrow. Thought about topping, but was too nervous to do it my first grow. But they have been responding wonderfully to the lst! Keep it up buddy! +rep

4 days since last pics. I should say.

temps are about 75-80 and are totally in God hands. I have another exhaust fan that I'll turn on to help with smell, but even it wont help temps a ton. Eventually I'll get environmental controlls, anyone need any Christmas ideas for me? lol

I topped both of the plants just above the 4[SUP]th[/SUP] node. I took the tops and sprayed them with a little water, dipped them in rooting solution, and stuck them in the soil of another of the same size pot with the same soil mixture. (Both cuttings in the same pot) – not too sure how that’s going to work out, but there’s only one way to find out…
12 hours later one of the cutting looked like it wasn’t going to make it, the other was looking bad but still upright… 24 hours later, and this is what they looked like.

The topped plants look good and responded well, I could actually probably go ahead and top them a second time whenever I want… I might just do that before I stop babysitting them for about a week.

I also had to enlist some security, I was worried that I noticed a nat making himself at home.

The flytraps are awesome....I love those things...
The clones needed a dome......
If they had one, then the problem was air embolisms...
Next time put the cuttings in a cup of water immediately after cutting them,or after cutting, make a new cut under water...
This will prevent air embolisms...

watered again with about a gallon a piece with only a Tbls of Big Bloom in the entire container. I topped both the plants again. This should be interesting. Pics two and three are of the clones, I think they might survive.

Also, looks like someone found his way in, or I would assume has been hiding here the entire time.

See everyone again next year... Happy New Year!

I went into flower Tuesday night, running 12/12, I've swapped over to the HPS... after just two days one of the plants shows clear as day little girl parts. Hooray. This strain remains a vigorous one and a very stinky one as well. I had to run out and get another ona block to help with the deep penetrating overwhelming skunk smell these plants have. I wish I could better describe how that translates into the taste in the end.
I'll get some more pics since the girls have grown a nice canopy, (topping is ftw), and now have begun flowering. The real magic is about to happen, thank you Lord for such an amazing plant! :)

PS ~ One more thing about when I went into flower... I read once that waiting about 6 weeks instead of 4 to start flower for this strain will help with not only yield but potency as well, I've only ever let this plant go for 6+ weeks so I couldn't compare but man do they stink, plus they had some time to get to a nice size and the little clones that are bound to do something had some time to play catch up, I hope they aren't a total waste of time.

Prepping my next batch of organic tea, lets see if less reallly is more......

adding nothing but some Jamaican bat guano this time... this might be the last time these girls see it. it says on the container every 4 weeks, in 4 weeks I hope to have my eye on a harvest date. Lets just see what they tell me they want.... so far I am so happy with these plants. They have responded splendidly to everything so far.

Ok, I might have to throw something from FF in there, I'm on a kick, so I have to i guess! Big Bloom! Don't do me wrong!

Everything is looking good. I took some pics and then deleted them by mistake, so a little longer on photo's. Everything is starting to stretch and smeeeeeells so bad. Flowers have started to grow on all the tops albeit still in early development stages. The pics you and I both want to see are coming up in about another month. I'm going to guess I have about 8-9 weeks until these ladies are ripe. Everything is in full swing right now. all fans and filters and ona and lighting engaged. still doing a 12/12 through the night hours for heats sake. Girls are thirsty every 5 days or so... the root ball must be healthy because it's doing it's job well.
This has been much more hands off grow then any of my others, hell, I've had outdoor grows miles from home and tended to them more then these two girls, this is another experiment that brings me one step closer to the hassle free enjoyment; no - freedom of never having to call up some skeezy dude and meet him somewhere that you hope you don't get robbed or arrested. Damn these dumb ass laws for this amazing plant.

Brewed and watered again this morning after a little pre-watering to tide them over yesterday, my bad for no pics so far, I have something to show you all though now and I'm anxious to do so, I just can't find time to do it. This has still been an experiment with how little effort I can put into these plants just to see what I'll get.
Tea was 6.4 ph and 580 ppm - one gallon apiece of tea. Contained liquid karma, big bloom and maxicrop kelp extract. Plants new growth has yelllowed and began to get dark spots, I don't know if it's a nute deficiency or burning, in the past old growth went first when I burned, so this might be lack of nutes... hope fully this morning drink will help with the issue. Buds are growing like crazy though, and I'm clearly going to have a nice harvest between these two plants unless disaster strikes. I also spent a few minutes this morning killing little white flies... those bastards must have been in the dirt, or snuck in through the vents - attracted by the light. Very disappointing to see these guys, but they aren't going to really hurt anything at this point - just piss me off that they made it in. I can't dust my plants at this point because they are starting to get some frost on them, any other remedies anyone know of that might help me out? Happy growing and I won't post again without pics unless it's somewhere else looking for help with the spots and white flies ...
