Here we go...my first grow

Alright I took some advice and did a redo of the cabinet. I took the LED out for now and put 2 T5s on the trolley. Removed the foil and added rocks into the spare cups. I have seen little to no growth in the last couple days but 2 of the 4 look like they are going to rebound without issue. The other 2 look pretty shitty in my opinion but I wouldn't know what is possible to save. Here's some pics of what it is now. PH has been coming up slightly each night. It was at 6.4 and I brought it down to 5.7. Hoping this change has a positive effect in the next couple days. Now that they aren't get too much of anything I'm hoping that they'll start to come back.View attachment 3338265View attachment 3338266 View attachment 3338267 View attachment 3338268 View attachment 3338269
Man it looks great without that tin foil. I think yours will work out great.

Here's my ghetto cab/setup. The important stuff is straight. Check it out.

I like the cab. I'm actually going to build another cab myself for veg here in the next month or 2.
I'm pretty small. Keep it in perspective for what I need. You should see the rest of the man cave outside of the closet. It's a disaster of everything from power tools to hand tools, wire electric meters and a 4 foot toolbox full, a 70's model dresser also full of tools and man junk. Buckets, chain saw, road side desk, milk cartons with junk, screws and small stuff littering the floor etc. 14 square feet of reorganizing down and just another 150 square feet to go. Problem is.... Shed and garage are full.

Don't ask me how much time I spent on that small project today. Just to move stuff aside.

Bought lights and timers last night to start working on the veg cab. On the road this week so won't have growth pics til the weekend. Going to go to the local hydro store and Home Depot to get the materials to build the cab. I'm thinking I'm gonna build it with treated plywood then buy some glossy white plastic to line the inside. Going to make it so I have room for my super cloner that came with my closet and a few dwc buckets to keep some mothers in. Not sure yet if I want to make my own buckets yet or not.

The LED looks like a flower led..

it should be more white/pink not dark pink for veg.. even if they mix in other spectrum which almost all LED lights do.. you should still notice the blue spectrum over the red.
just from personal comparison.
maybe its on a timer or has switches i dunno..

That's actually the tub that came with it. I put the foil over it to keep light out of the water. I'm looking for feedback from positive people not someone trying to be condescending. Like I said it's my first time and I didn't prepare enough. The cabinet comes with no info but they do offer grow support. I just don't like using my phone to call and talk about this because I'm a paranoid fucker. The only change I made to the cabinet was removing the shelf. There's not gonna be adequate space if I didn't. I need to build another smaller cabinet to use for veg so I can have mothers and do clones.
I actually think the foil is a pretty damn good idea. Gives some light reflection from under the plant. Compared to the blue (I'm assuming) tub just sitting there not reflecting much light

Sorry for so long between updates but here we go...So the two that were looking weak I pulled out and threw away, so right now I only have 2. Getting 6 more large clones this week that should be at about the same point growth wise so that's a big plus. I also went out and bought a 2' 4 tube T5 light and it covers a lot nicer. Right now the one looks like the edge of the leaves are turned up and I think that it got a little chilly at night in my cabinet that caused it, if someone has a better more experienced opinion I'd love to hear it. I've started giving them a half strength solution of my veg nutes I'm using which are Sugar Daddy, BC Boost, BC Grow, Magical, and spray once a week with B-1 Thrive Alive. I've also been waiting til the top fan leaves have 2 good nodes above then I've been cutting them off, and about a day or 2 later I have a new branch there. Not sure if this is good or not but it seems to be working nicely, again if this is good or bad I would appreciate a little feed back. Here's some pics, the first couple are from 2 weeks ago and the last few are from today.

Looking beautiful brah. Good job. Don't know about all your Chems. I do have some thrive alive. Don't really use it anymore. Seems legit. But, your plants are looking great.

Thanks man. I'm hoping that these clones are at the same stage and I can put them in flower the 1st of March. I know these 2 will be ready by then for sure.

Makes me feel good to see healthy plants. Not because it's beautiful MJ, but it's a living thing and you're doing it right!

Ok I got the clones last Friday. I got 6 of Lemon OG Kush that I put in. The leaves looked a little rough from all the transportation but the roots look amazing. Cycled the water out to get the PPMs down, it was at 920 Monday before I left. Everything is looking good though. My Early Vixen I have dubbed "The One"...Lol...I think that she looks beast and the preflowers are showing female for both of the trees from seeds. Going to be switching to flower this weekend unless something bad happens while I'm gone. Here's some pics with the new clones in there.

My White Widow apparently started damping off and I didn't know it when it was young. Looks like it battled through it though. Thought I'd include the pics of it for all to see. I started adding some h2o2 every few days last week when I noticed it. The roots all look good so I'm not really worried about it. From what I've read if it was going to kill the plant it would have most likely happened a few weeks ago. Found out I can only post 10 pics a post so here are a couple showing them all.

Day 1 of flower is today. The Vixen is a little over 20" tall and the others are all between 16"-19". I gave 2 of the Lemons to my buddy to put in his closet and to give a little more room for everything. The Vixen has 13 solid heads on it and is looking beautiful. The others are all healthy and ready too. I added my flower nutes and everything seems to be going great. I'm just hoping that I don't run out of head room in my closet. I wanted to change the cycle sooner but that just how things go sometimes. I removed all the leaves and weak branches from the lower 1/3 of each one on Friday and sprayed them with B-1 Thrive Alive. They grew 1.5" over night after this! Here's some pics

Those look great man! Use that net trellis. Start training them now. Bend the tallest tops down, you can use twist ties to secure them to the trellis. Spread out the flower sites, and give your smaller plants more access to the lights. Its already crowded in there. Going to be nuts in a week or two.

I'm using the net trellis but to contain the vixen not spread it out. It's already blocking out the widow. I arranged it this morning so that all the smaller trees are getting as much access to light as I can. I think the vixen could have used the whole cab by herself. It's not too crowded yet but it's about to get sick in the next couple weeks.

Time for an update, better late than never. So the Widow went male on me, due to the dampening off, and my Lemons seem to be having an issue now. I pulled the Widow out this morning and got as much of it's roots out as I could but needless to say many were left behind interwoven with the other plants. The Lemon's early new growth down low is turning black and the main stem now has purple veins in it that weren't there before. I'm about to research that now but wanted to give an update first in case someone has an idea. The Vixen is just absolutely out of control. She has pretty much taken over the cabinet and I'm getting REAL close to running out of vertical room. She is also preventing good light surface area to the Lemons. I have the T5s setup to give light down low to help a little but I think I may look into getting some LEDs I can mount on the sides in the future sometime to really help out down there. Here's some pics from this morning.
