Here is the update 3.5 weeks flowering!!!

well its time to post up on whats been growing.
here are the remaining 4 plants that veged for about 2 months. & now we are into 3.5 weeks of flowering. with a 600hps light.

1st pic is of your indica plant that we toped at very young age. now sits at just over 3ft tall. & has 3 nice colas & 1 that is just a little behind them.



2nd pic is of its little daughter that we took off when it was 1 month old. we did not top this 1 so we could compare yield ect.. also is almost tsame hight as its mom. but we think most the hight came from streching cause the light was hight for its size .this plant also veged for about 1 month.



3rd pic of of our sativa that is the same age as the indica everyting is the same except we DID NOT top this plant (again to compare size yield ect..)
this plant is just over 5ft tall & we have done some LST on her to bend it over to reduce hight 2 allow the light 2 be closer to the shorter indica plants u can see the string in pic 2. this teqnique has shown to be very helpfull so far due to the lower branches being able to grow up & look like 15 little tops reaching up as u can see.



4th plant is also sativa & this plant has been toped at a very young age. this plant also stands over 5ft tall. so from our testing so far toping did NOT slow down the groth of this plant. it now has 3 colas streching 5ft tall & 1 smaller 1 streching 4 ft tall. seems this plant will yeild way more bud than the untoped plant but we will see..





well tell me what u guys think, its first time attempting growing so all comments are welcome good or bad. btu we are very happy with our results so far.

curious as to why you vegged them out for 2 months. Remember that spacing and consistent height is crucial for effective light absorption. Also, since they are very tall due to excessive veg growth you might want to trim some of the lower popcorn buds off. Setup looks clean and plants very healthy...nice!

well to be honest wih u, we didnt plan on veging for but 1 month, we were so buisy doin other stuff it just happend. so for now on veg will only be for 1-2weeks more than likley.
we let it go a little 2 far, lol

also why take lower popcorn bud off?

Those buds down there don't really receive any light. Either way chopping them will likely add budding energy to your main colas.

but when is the ideal time to cut them? in veg or what? i think billy bob said dont mess with them after 2 wks flowering, so can you trim up till then?

well our buds down at the lower areas are getting plenty of light from the side lighting & under lighting we are using. & they are filling in very well as is the rest of the plants.


but i would asume you dont want to do anymore cutting once u start flowering stage

that is correct sir. After about 2.5-3 weeks i generally stop trimming.
