Hell no! I like being in control. I know when to flip from 18/6 to 12/12, it isn't difficult. I just don't see the point in them. You can't train them as they have an internal countdown clock that starts as soon as they hit the dirt. I am sure that this is gonna piss somebody off, but I think autos are for people that would lick their windows clean and view Crayons as a viable lunch. Just sayin..
ok....lol....extra smoke on the side for a humble bowl scraper, doesnt sound to bad....I pay for my smoke right now,,,it sucks....jus sayin

The autoflowers these days are great genetically. Some produce the same as a regular photoperiod plant. Ive been growing Northern Light autos from sensi seeds ( the original northern lights ) and the plants are bigger then most of my past photo's. I highly recommend it and i should pull about 4ozs minimum off one plant.

Your results ARE NOT COMMON!! Most people experience a smaller yield when comparing a auto to a photo. I am calling bullshit on your 4 zips a plant. No fucking way! I have buddies that are wizards with autos that don't come close to that. Even they say if you want a REAL yield, use a photo and train in. Passing on inaccurate information or anomalistic experiences does nothing for new growers. In the growing world, autos are for lazy people that don't know what they are doing or for people that are bored. Go to ANY commercial grow and you will NOT find autos unless they are a pet project. Stick with photos, you will have a larger, more consistent yield. Ruderalis is known for being easy, not being plentiful.

If you go in expecting 4 zips a plant just because you heard one person did it, you will be VERY let down. Chances are you will kill it trying to compensate. I have seen a ton a newbs do that very thing just because of something they "heard". Expect 1-2 oz on an auto unless you are very skilled. A photo can be as big as you want it to be before you flower it. Sog, SROG, or LST will give you more of a yield than any auto could ever compete with.

No where did i say ALL autos will yield a ton. I said very specifically Northern Lights by SensiSeeds has great genetics and grows bigger then some of my past photoperiod plants. I highly recommend it to anyone. But dont listen to me or the other guy, see for yourself. I'll post my yield with pics when its ready in a week or two, im positive its around 4oz.

Dude, hopes and dreams don't weigh shit and that is exactly what you are full of. So, you "think" that your unharvested plant is "going to" yield 4 zips. How many harvests have you had that yielded 4 zips a plant? 1 or none? He asked for REAL advice from experienced growers, not an aspiration on a possibility. Why don't you leave the advice giving to us pros that have actually done this before? People like you misinform new growers so that people, like myself, spend so much time un-teaching bad advice similar to what you have given. Unless you know your stuff, please try to withhold your opinion that is not validated by experience (or facts) from the beginner forum. Thanks.

whoa mad did somebody woke up on the wrong side of the bed? While i agree with mad its unlikely you will be able to pull 4 zips from one auto as a newb, but im not saying it cant and isnt being done.O and ebcrew man i got to see these autos post some pics.

I'm good, just tired of bullshit artists passing on information like this. A 4 oz plant is a HUGE auto (or photo). HE hasn't even harvested it yet and thinks he has a QP. More than likely it is closer to 2 oz. The OP asked for good, solid advice. He didn't ask if anybody was a good story teller, or if somebody had thought they had seen a three legged ballerina. I do my best NOT to rip into people, but not when I read garbage like what EB is posting, it makes it difficult for me to keep my mouth shut.

No where in my post did i say every auto will produce huge yields, i simply said that auto genetics are better then what they used to be and you can get a pretty nice plant from them. I didnt post any bad info or anything to butt hurt anyone. All my autos are pretty nice looking plants, but one of my northern lights is a complete monster. Did i say it happens every single time? Nope. Your just assuming things.

Edit: forgot to add i usually dont even respond to people like you. This will be my last time. You can post 100 more things but this will be the last time i step into this particular post. have fun
