I drilled 1/2 inch holes 1.5 inches from the bottom of the bucket put some rocks for drainage and filled with soil.
I read up on it and noticed this bucket style used with perlite medium is mostly done indoors.
But i went to an uncles house couple of weeks ago and saw in his yard a couple of palm trees in this style bucket.
Anyone growing or has grown with success this way outdoors too?
