Hey all,
Ill be headed out of town in a couple months and I need to ensure that my plants can survive a few days of me not being there. I have been doing some googling on the subject, but havent found anyone else with a setup like mine that I could mirror. Currently, I have the following:
DR40 Secret Jardin
150 watt HPS
(6) 2 quart apple juice containers with metal tape (Hempy bucket)
100 % perlite hempy buckets with 2" of hydroton on top
I have found that I can use a home depot bucket with lid, drill / caulk a hole for the hose, and then for the air stone hose to oxygenate the nuted water in the bucket. In the tent, I will have 2 rows of the apple juice containers in a tupperware shoe box to catch the run off water.
Im just not sure why type of equipment I will need cause I am a newb and setting up a system like this and need to lean on some more experienced growers. I can help put together a step by step guide as well to assist other like minded individuals that see the benefits from a partially automated system.
