Hemp and CO2

I there,
I had just smoked a spliff of good weed some days ago, and I had an idea. So I sent an e-mail to Schwarznegger, saying that maybe hemp could do something about global warming.
I was thinking that, being cellulose made of glucose, and that in each molecule of this there are 6 atoms of carbon, massive plantations of hemp could help in reducing the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere, and that would also increase the level of oxygen in the air. Not to mention that the product would be paper, pulp, seeds and so on.
I was definitely stoned to do that but... is it feasible?

Obviously, given that on the same surface, the amount of paper produced by hemp is 4 times that made by wood.

Not only is the yield so much better, but it takes no where near the kind or amount of caustic chemicals to turn hemp into paper. Wood makes crappy paper that won't last due to the acids used to make wood into pulp. The Declaration of Independence and the US Constitution are both written on Hemp paper. Let us also not forget that the seeds from the Cannabis plant are the worlds most perfect food.
