helps i got wilting

ahoy!
i be having a slight problem i have a plant now since the other 2 died, but the bigest one of the 3 is wilitng rly bad, its just about a month old. i dont have any fancy dodads like hps lights or like a whole room to do it in, or anything expensive. I be poor and i working with what i gots, which is poting soil and i got some old grow lamps from the plant store that went out of busniess and shit, there called ott grow lights. and i am just using tap water and regular poting soil. but they where doing fine till about 3 days ago. see the pic:








when i noticed that i was getting a rly bad wilting problem. the plant is in my bathroom which is air conditioned and has good ventalation it is under my sink so it gets its dark time but its not in a cabint or box or anything. so i thought maybe it was to hot and needed more air or some shit so i went and got a fan and that didnt seam to help atall...... see the slow decay of my plant:

i am doing a 18/6 light cycle, i dont belive i am over watering i only water every other day and i only use idk 2 or 3 tablespoons of water, and from all the threads i have read about watering if i was over watering it would make the leaves turn yellowish or the steam would turn a diffrent color. but its still solid green some times it kind even looks purpelish.

but i went out and got some peat circles for cutlings and if it wilts any more ill just cut it up and see if i can revie it like that or just start again. i am slowly geting material together for a aeroponic setup but my walmart doesnt carry netted pots or pea gravel, and when iwent to the pet store for aquarium tubing they where all out so idk if its just not my week or walmart and petco dont want me to grow or what

but any and all help will be much appreciated, and yes i know i am a noob at growing like i said i am just experimenting atm if i had the money for a nice set up i would get it.

1st i would just go get your self some miracle grow its not the best but seems like it would fit your budget. 2nd they do not have enough light see if you can put it out on a patio,porch, nmaybe near a kitchen window for a couple of hours. 3rd I would not go with aeroponic if your new to growing. Start off with some miracle grow or some foxfarm ocean forest. Both are around the same price for the same amount. With these soils you can get away with giving them tap water for liitle while, aprox a month or so without having too nig of a problem.

so you think they are wilting from lack of light or is it something else? do you think that lil guy is salvageable? and i have some of the shake in mircale grow in the soil already.
oh on a side not why dont any of my gifs work? do you have to have some sort of rank to make it work?

I think it looks over watered. how often do you water them. I would not put 2 plants in 1 pot they steal from each other.

Its a lack of alot of things based on the facts u gave me . It all has alot to do with basic math and science skills. I would highly suggestv picking up some literature to have by your side. I highhly recommend " Jorge Cervantes Indoor Grow Bible" The best $20 investment. You can find them online or call your local book store and have them order it for you. The first thing i would change is the lighting and the soil. Get some soil that has the food already in it. Just add water to it when the pot feel like it weighs about 50% dry. Go get yourself a better light. Maybe a T5 light system go with a . I think that would solve your issues.

You could also be underwatering. Thats a big possibility. My plants wilt when they are underwatered. The soil needs to be evenly moist. Not dry. Not waterlogged either. Weigh your pots before and after watering. Let it dry atleast 50%. When you do water fully saturate the pots and allow for 10-15% of drainage come out of the bottom of the pot.

kool thanks alot beach, ill go pick up that book, and i nvr thougth of weighing the plants to see how much water to give it or not all very usefull stuff and thanks again for helping me out. iam planing a trip out to this hydroponioc store next week and will look for the t5 light system your talking about. and some better soil and everything.

Yah if you got your light cycle right then it might either be underwatering( which is probably right cause 2 tabl spoons everyother day isnt much)or i guess it. I would try giving it more water and maybe some fertilizer that should perk her right back up.

update:
i got acouple ppl telling me yesterday that i didnt have enuff light, and some ppl where telling me to let her get some real sunlight. so during her regular light cycle i thought it would be a good idea to let her do that. i have roomates thought and they know i smoke and shit but they dont know i grow and i dont want them to say shit so i thought that if i put the pot up on the roof that they wouldnt be the wiser... well they nvr saw it but i didnt even think to acount for the massive wind we have been having the last couple days. i had put the pot up on the roof around 3pm, and when i went back out to check on her at 6ish i found dirt all over the back patio, i was like wtf? and then i saw it. it was my plant under the pot and a big pile of dirt. it was like seeing my child geting hit by a car or something i was mortafied. i ran over cleared off the dirt from on top of her and gently picked her up and went and got some more dirt and i repotted her and to my suprise most of the dirt was being held down by her massive lil root cluster (i wish i took pics but i was more worried about geting her back in the soil) anyway i repositioned her in the pot put new dirt around her and going on beaches advice i completely soaked the soil till it ran out the bottom. i used water i had siting out for a day to let the clorene evaporate. i figured shit she fell off the roof, got crushed, and blown around my patio if that didnt kill her why would some water. i then went and got a small brissel paint brush and brushed off all the dirt that was attached to the hairs on her stem and on the leaves being careful as i could with her because she was drooping even more then befor but that was understandable due to the situation, after i was done i took a lil spray bottle that also had day old water in it and gave her a lil shower and put her back in her lil spot in my bathroom. now her normal cycle is 18/6 12midnight till 6pm. so when i had goten all this stuff done and her back in the bathroom, i went to eat and then layed down for a bit and watched some bleach. a hour or so later i went in to turn on the lights and to my suprise she was hella perky, i mean even the leaves that where crushed where straight up and i have a lil fan next to her for circulation and it use to kinda make her sway she wasnt even flinching. i was so happy ^^ so i put the lights on and left her be. its about time now for me to turn off the lights and i am going to go take some picks and shit so u all can see. but since all this shit happened i am going to call her Survivor, hopefuly she can keep surviving threw all my noob ass mistakes and be a great plant.
