your over doing the nutes.. what are you feeding it? when are you feeding it? the more info you give us the more you get in return.......

first i would cover the rockwool with pellets.. also the rockwool has a steady ph of 7 so if i had to guess your ph is out of wack and your giving it to much nitrogen ..need to flush with plain water and then get your water to a ph of 5.5-5.8 so it can intake ALL the nutrients instead of the higher end of the nutes because your ph is a 7 or higher due to the rockwool..

Im guessing P.H. and too much nutes as well. I had the same problem a few months ago in my 1st bubbler. I cut back to 1/3 recommended nutes for the entire veg stage and it grew greener and faster than ever. Including clones Ive done now and I have started more seeds with the same formula. No more yellow leaves. I keep my P.H. around 5.8. Seems to be ok. When I over did the nutes, I flushed the entire system and did just 5.8 p.h. water with no nutes for 2 days and it popped back nicely.

Ill be looking forward to seeing what you do and how it works

Im still a newb :)

Did you remember to wash the pellets before using them?
hydroton is an inert clay, so is its dust and particulate, this is why we use it as a medium. While it muddies your reservoir if you don't pretreat your hydroton it will not sicken your plants. Besides, that's like a cup of hydroton in a 4 inch net pot. These issues are pH too high, and nute burn from to much too soon.

I looked up dosing, that is the recommended dosing. So generally I atleast cut the recommeded dosing in half. Personally I only use 1/3 dose, but I only put 3 gallons in my res and use 1 gallon with nutes, the other 2 just water.
Flush and wait a couple days and start with 2tbsp for 4 gallons. Half dose. Im sure you will have better results. Goodluck

My plants get no food for the first few weeks and then I start them at 200 ppm see how they react and go from there, also have you calibrated your pH meter?

I just checked my meter and it was wrong it was saying 5.5 and actually it was 6.4. What do y'all think?

I think you need to calibrate your pH meter and drop your solution to 200 ppm and 5.8 pH, or watch your plants die. what meters are you using? For both PPM and pH.
