Ok I just have a few questions, I don't know what is going on with my baby, she is two months old and she is long and skinny and has few leaves. The 4 bottom leaves on the bottom of the plant have spots and are turning brown, it is in a 5 gallon pot water it almost every four or so days and it started to flower about two weeks ago, man i have put so much time into this i don't want to lose it, we started to grow it out side and moved it in, it wasa bout a month old when we moved it in. we are pretty sure it is a female, all i can say is help!!!!!

It is definately a she. But she's not looking so hot. Very badly stretched, and her growth has been stunted by something. Ok what kind of soil are you growing in? Have drainage in the bottom of your pot? What nutes are you giving her? What lights are you useing? What temp and humidity level is she growing in?

shes def stretched because your not using enough light
dont really know why she has those spots on the leafs

Could it be because i brought it in from outside, i am using a tomatoe fertilizer it says it is 15-5-9 my friend said he used it and it was some good stuff very limited in this small town, i have a 450 watt grow light above her about 8-12 inches above her, we water about every four days, and it is 72degrees in the spare bathroom i use to grow in. I am very new at this i don't want to lose her!

Agreed. That baby is screaming for more light.

Once the light problem is addressed, the spot problem may resolve itself. Healthy, happy plants tend to be disease resistant.
One more thing how do i get the plant to start bushing and stop stretching?
Fix the lighting ASAP. Deal with the spots afterward if the problem persists.

Good luck and good growing.

450 watts? Doesn't seem possible unless it is ten feet away. Do you have a picture of the light?

i think a foot or 2 would be far enough away, the plant dont look burned, so ima guess he has it under controll.

hey OP, do you know about the hand test to see if your light puts out too much heat?

well you can take clones durring flowering, but it would stress the plant. however, if you think this plant could fail it would be a safer bet to have a batch of young clones instead of one kinda messed up plant. one good thing is you know all of your clones will be females

I dunno that plant looks like every plant I've seen that has been growing under incandesents - I'm thinking a simple case of drastic underlighting.

i t hikn i was wrong on the watt i though that is what my boyfriend said it was but i guess i will have to ask him again. is there any poe if i don't clone it. and If i do clone it will it put the plant into stress? I have planted three more seeds from the same strain this one was in. starting them inside instead of out. Should I have not moved it in from being outside?

if I cloned that plant i would cut off every healthy branch and plant those. if i did that the mother plant would probably die. i know it seems like your throwing away 2 months of work, but it would be better to have 10 clones that are all healthy

def a good move to start and finish indoors, i dont know where you live, but the grow season is almost over

I had one the same size on the balcony and ended up re-vegging it. It ended up taking a week and a half to revert but it ended up bushing out like crazy
