It is now oct 10th. i live in indiana. bud is swelled, all cloudy trichs. 90 percent red hairs. time to harvest? Will they turn amber and if so how long?

help me. will my trichs turn amber?

yes if you leave them out another week i would say they would turn amber./

what color bud u lookin for? the snow covered green, long hair hippie style, dark and sticky.

i myself pick when the hairs are 85-90 red, then hang for a 7 day cure, that time usually darkens the trichs nicely.

but keep in mind, all the other "gardeners" in my area wait about 2-3 weeks longer than me. and they always have issue with early frost. fall rains(inducing mold while still in ground). getting worried pickin it wet hanging it to dry and mold shreds it from the inside out.

but when im outdoors i grow fast short strains. me lovey some white rhino.

and remember, in MY opinion 10% of your bud quality is decided during curing. dry too fast and it kills your throat/lungs. dry too slow and mold can crawl in. dry too much and it turns to dust and rolls 2 hit joints. dry to little and.... well u get da idear.
