Help with my harvest date!

So I'm growing in northern ms area and this is my line girl outdoors. She looks great and I know she is an indica, my question is any guesstimates on how long I have left? I'm thinking at least two weeks maybe three. What should be my physical signs other than looking at trichomes with a magnifier. I also have some hi def photos that look like they should be in high times if that would help, not really sure how to post photos on here

try posting the pictures but the magnifying glass is your best bet...i dont really use the amber hair naked eye test because diffetent syrains act differently

Since you didn’t post pics, I’m going to jack your thread so’s I don’t have to start one of these awful threads even though I really really really really wanna. ;)

She’s a sativa, normally due in the middle to end of October, but I got her flowering early due to rootbound nute tricking.

What do you guys think?

Im doing this from my iPhone, could that be the problem? Because I pasted pictures in the text, and obviously they didn't come through

You'll need a magnifier of course, but I think you might be able to chop her at the end of September. Possibly the full moon at the end of the month (Supposedly increases thc). If not by then, I'm sure it'll be done before the 10th of October.

Just an estimation from my own experience though! Its really hard to gage. That's why I rarely comment in these kinds of threads.

Being my first time around take this with a grain of salt but you look about as far along as I am and IMAG0423.jpgIMAG0413.jpgI'm guessing I have another 6 weeks at least.

Well 1rsttimeguy yours looks like mine did about 2 weeks ago, im noticing some of the white hairs starting to turn brown at the tips and start to wither, which i know they are supposed to do. But I guess my real question is how will i know they they have reached their full weight potential. Ive read that it's in those last few days that they really fatten up, so do I wait till about 50-70% of the white hairs have withered fully and the trichomes are amber, and ten wait a few more days? Or aam I risking harvesting past peak maturation?

You really have potentially two different questions here.

1- when will it be ready? As far as potency is concerned you want your trichs to be as consistently milky/ cloudy as possible. Amber trichs are a sign of thc breaking down to CBN which has little value unless you plan on taking a nap. I plan on harvesting when I have as few clear trichs as I feel I'll get before ambers reach the 10%-20% range.

2- when will it have the most weight? There is the potential that you may gain more weight as the trichs continue to degrade beyond the hieght of potency.

Decide what you are looking for, weight or quality.

I plan on harvesting based on trichs personally.

Again, I suggest you do your own research as the above is really based upon what I understand from what I have read. I hope that this helps in at least some respect. Either way you are still a few weeks to a month out.

They don't look more than three or four weeks into flower. I'd say late Sept or early October you have a ways to go

I would really look at it closely the last week of Sept as an early pull date and 2nd week of Oct as a just right and later Oct for couchlock.

Listen Guy, I'm in South Ms. My sativas look as far along as yours, and I hope I make, at a minimum, 6more weeks I'm looking for weight....
