hello everyone,
I am new to this forum, i am a local grower from dc,

So i an setting up my 4x8 tent,
So far i have 800cfm filter and 8in fan combo for my exhaust,
2 600 w viparspectra LED

I got thirteen 5 gallon smart pots and two 7 gallon smart pots, all clones that i picked up from a friend. Grow tent was set up a week ago.

So i feel like my light is not bright enough,

Questions 1: I picked up a viparspectra 900w from a local grower for a steal, i was thinking about adding the 900 in the middle along with 600 on each side,
Would that too much?

Questions 2; i have couple small 4 and 6 inch fan in each corner and exhaust is on lowest setting and my humidity is at 70-78 . What should i do?

Question 3: after this first batch or right when i put these in flower, if i want to have a small area for veg or clones so i can have rotation going how can divide a small 2 x4 area or 3x4 area for veg room and keep the 5 or 6 x 8 for flower.

Thanks everyone looking forward for all the help.

All of those would do a 4x4, pretty nice. If you could split the tent(get it light tight) you could Veg/flower in each 4x4. Each 600 is like 200 from the wall and the 900 300, for. Total of 700watts. I guessing but all those lights are kind of the same.

I don't know how to split a tent like that. Duct tape and foam wall insulation? Then use bends in your flex ducts so no light, but air could move though?

Look up the true wattage on the vipars, I think a 600w is true wattage of about 230w, so you don't have the amount of light you thought you had. So no it wont be too much. With those lights I would want at least 1200 real watts in that space.

As far as splitting your tent, I wouldn't, I havn't tried it but have owned plenty of tents and don't see how splitting one well enough would be an easy job. I have run tents within tents before. That would work better. I still wouldn't recommend it but if you have no other option then that's what I would do. If you do that I recommend a blanket of light proof fabric to cover the veg tent. Since most tens are not 100% light proof.

Run a dehumidifier to reduce RH.

When it comes to flowering I would get more fans.

You are an experienced grower, just new to riu, correct? I will assist in any way I can, but you may be advanced enough to not need much assistance.
I am part of a team of experienced professional broadcasters who for the last nine years have been podcasting. As of this past week the offices have been expanded at the current Glover Park studio. There's a good chance you listen already to one or more of the shows.
We want to hear from DC residents about their experiences growing, using, and buying since Initiative 71 was passed. We're rolling out a dedicated 'cannabis in DC' show in the very near future, format to be conversational, informative, entertaining. Frequent guests prominent in the Industry. Not a droll review of cannabis news, and certainly not stoners talking nonsense.

If you care to chat, please PM me here on riu, or on growdoctordc.com

Someone said something about panda paper and tape, would that work?

If you have to go down that route of dividing, I always found duct tape can come unstuck when it gets warm. There is some aluminium foil tape you can buy in 50m rolls, its pretty cheap. That sticks rock solid and will never unstick. Plus its aluminium so its really strong and doesn't tare easy and its light proof. So you could in theory use panda film and stick it both sides with small pieces of that overlapping. Obviously you then need two extraction fans and filters.

Why would i need two filters? I thought i didnt need a filter in veg?

Or could i get 2x2 and prepare my next rounders in 1 gallon pots and when i transpland i transfer them to 5g pots,

I can put a rack with 2 tier, and prepare my clones in the bottom and move them on top shelf in 1 g gallon pots, which are 6 in round,

I think i could fit 16 pots and i can move those 16 in 7 or 5g pots and move them to my 4x8

Depends how long you veg and what strain you're growing. Many plants stink in veg though.

Do you think i could keep them in 1g pots for 1-1.5 month? Till i harvest my flower room?

Or maybe 2 gallon pots if i go with 2x4 instead of 2x2

I still have 2 months to figure out, since im on first week of veg,
