Help with germination

SO... i got a plant full of seeds, and i pulled a few, others dropped off naturally, and some were collected shaking the plant (they dropped), BUT, none of them seems to germinate! I am doing something wrong?, Does the seed need a little "rest" before germinating it?

how are you germinating them with the paper towel method, try the water in a cup and leave it somewhere dark and warm for 24 hours, now when you check on it the next day if the seed is still floating, wash your hands real good and tap at the seed with your finger when the seed sinks to the bottom of the cup the seed is ready

let em dry. maybe, pop in fridge for week or 2 before germinate....peace

dark warm humid environment would be idea. is surpsing that isnt work, ive seen some of my seeds take up to 3 days
