Help with electric timer "PRIME"

I bought this item a few days back (5-6) I've set it up several different ways but trying to get this "PRIME" one outlet,7 day timer to work for a simple box fan is proving difficult. I come back to check on it and it's blinking 12:00 am and all the "programs" (on/off schedule) I set are deleted. I set it at first to come on at 3am go off at 6am and times like that through the day (3/3hr) and even tried a simpler time pattern of on 9am off at 10pm and set the R option that makes it automatically turn off and on while in on mode and I came back to the same thing. I have to leave somewhere tomorrow and don't want my plant to die so I'll take any help/advice you have if you're familiar with this product. I feel like it's shutting off when it gets to 12am and re-setting for some reason (not 100% positive about that though) but I've programmed it every way I can think to make that not happen with no change. I'm setting the days and times right and I'm positive a simple box fan isn't too powerful for it to handle (it says it can power an 120 AC unit) so what am I doing wrong here??

For such a simple cycle go to Harbor Freight and get one of their mechanical timers (about $5-6) you can set it in 15 min increments. The digital programmable ones are a bit more but they are more flexible.

I'm guessing you have lost the instructions.
Google the model number and instructions off the net.

I have the instructions they are just complete shit and not detailed or specific at all. Instead they waste most of the instructions pages literally explaining how to do one specific basic set time part over and over as to explain you can set up to 8 programs(which is already obvious and doesn't need explaining) Have you used one of one these timers before by chance yourself? If so I could use some help on how you set it to simply turn on for 3 hrs then off for an hour then back on for three hours, so on.. Like I explained, I come back to check on it every hr or 2 and after 12hrs or less it's blinking at 12:00am and the date, time, and all of the times you set up are erased. The battery isn't showing the low batter symbol and it's still plugged in to the outlet correctly. If you haven't used this product have a look at the instructions yourself and have a laugh or maybe a migraine.. lol Terrible instructions, seriously.

yes I use one. Not a brand name called Prime.
I set the on time and then the off time, day etc and then hit set...But I always need the instructions to re do.

I have had a few over the decades and they are all different.

I will probably just replace this pos to save myself the headaches in the future and cut my loses, it was only $13. I've tried to set it every way I can think possible that might be messing it up and causing it to shut off but nothing seemed to work. I messed with it for 4 or 5 days every day trying new set ups it messed up so I'm well done with it. I ended up just leaving the fan on the entire time I was gone because I couldn't stand the idea of my plant getting stuck there alone after only 12 hrs or less of me leaving with no air circulation. Can't do that to my lady. :)

Edit I just noticed when I said instruction pages it was an error, it should have been plural because it was one sheet lol Front side in English back side in Spanish mind you. seriously don't waste your time on one of these, anyone.
