help with autoflowering seedling

1.Are you growing from seed or clones?
From seed, “Buddha seeds autoflower assorted mix”. It could be White Dwarf, Red Dwarf, Syrup, Deimos or an experimental hybrid. All autoflowering, finishing between 55 and 85 days.

2. How old are your plants?

10 days from sprouting from soil, about 13 since germinated.

3. How tall are your plants?
A bit more than 1 inch.

4. What size containers are they planted in?
I planted directly in a 3.5 gallon container.

5. What is your soil mix?

30% compost, 20% earthworm humus, 15% peat moss, 20% perlite, 15% vermiculite. Bought from a growshop.

6. How often do you water and what type of water do you use?
Tap water. I just watered once with a syringe (15 ml), as the soil has some humidity which I can still feel in the first 2 inches with my finger.

7. What is the pH of your water?
Between 6.0 and 6.5, measured with pH paper.

8. What kind of lights do you use and how many watts combined?
From sunrise till midday the plant receives direct sun, then indirect bright light till 5 pm, and then I turn on a 26 watt 6500K CFL till the next sunrise, so I´m on 24/0.

11.How close are your lights to the plants? About 1 to 2 inches, watching for a nice temperature (max 85F).

12.What is the temperature and humidity in your grow space?
Between high 50´s and 85F at most, and about 50% humidity (though it has came down to 30% a few times)

14.What is the pH of the soil?
Didn´t measure it, but bag says 6.5

15. Have you noticed any insect activity in your grow space?
No.

16. How much experience do you have growing?
2 or 3 grows, so not much. First time with autoflower.

So I´m kind of concerned because this plant has already 10 days and isn´t growing as fast as others I had (regular bag seeds, not autoflowering), plus I see some purple in the leaves as you can see in the pictures. I contacted Buddha to ask whether it could be the strain, but they told me that it wasn´t likely. They suggested me it could be a low temperature problem, but I´m not sure as it never gets colder than 55F. So I have 2 questions:
1) The apparent small size of this plant (the distance between the tips of the first true leaves is about 1 inch) could it be due to the fact that it´s an autoflowering strain? Do autoflowering strains grow slower than not autoflowering in general?
2) What could be the reason for those purple stains?
Thank you very much!!!1.jpg2.jpg3.jpg

it it possible that it's somehow being shaded or too close to the other plants during the sunlight hours? Someone more experienced will have to comment on the purple stains there. it would be useful to know the contents of the compost. With peat, verm and perlite it you have massive water retention going on, but it doesn't really look under watered.

My guess would be a soil related issue or daytime light. it would certainly grow faster with more CFLs but if it's getting sun during the day, I would think it should be bigger by now. Is it 10 days from germ or 10 days since it broke soil?

Autos do tend to be smaller over all, but more so at the end stage, they are usually pretty vigorous and fast during early growth (with proper conditions)

I think your temps are getting a little low
Your soil looks like its got a lot of mulch in it
If its pine when it breaks down it will get really acidic
I use a heavy loam for the little soil that's in my mix

It´s 10 days since it broke soil. I´ve used the same soil to grow the regular (photo) seeds I found having a quicker rate of growth than this one. That makes me think the soil isn´t the problem. It gets no shade because there aren´t plants nearby...
I think I´ll watch the temps to be at least 70 and wait to see what happens..

got some pics? even if they are, they will gonna explode under that 1000w. 19/5 is fine, most do 20/4 or 24/0. It really just gets knit picky, since they can grow under 24/0 you can't really fuck em up with +/- a few hours here and there.

how many plants under how many cfls?

auto seedlings most of them anyway are sensitive to really nutrient rich soil

they kinda take there time until they have a couple leaves then take off 100 mph

the purple just makes me think your temps are low

being a unknown strain there's no telling
it could of been a untested cross or one they didnt use in there breeding projects for what ever reasons
its luck of the draw with breeder mixes

Thank you very much guys!!! I´ll just wait a few days and see what happens. I´ll try to keep the temps above 70°F

only camera i got is my laptop and it takes shitty pics no detail at all i got 6 plants under 150 watts cfl each plant

150 watt cfl doesn't have that same punch as a 150 watt hps ... just get a hps if u can youll see a difference. .I went thru the cfl blues as well..I still use them but only on seedlings for 2weeks then off to the hps..but I also use mh only as well..blue spectrum cfls n then mh.

if u had spent what you have in cfl's on a HPS
u could of got cool tube and digital 400w
1 fan and filter/ ducting
your spending around $50 USD in cfl's a plant ?
you are aware they start to lose intensity at 4+ months ?

Have you tried not changing the light style so much. Maybe if you just kept them under the cfl ... 20 on and 4 off she may pick it up a little.

Question you say you are using a 150w cfl. How many kelvins? When using cfls you need the 6500k during veg and the 2700k during flowering. Then you can add daylight cfls for side lighting and extra lumens.
