i would like you guys to provide me with your most advanced techniques to growing. i am looking for a way to maximize yields and quality. i know about low stress training, lollipopping(which i do not agree with, defoliation is a better choice and yes it does work) and topping. i would like you guys to tell me what you think is best, most successful, etc.

Playing old 50's and 60's music I have found is the best way to have huge yields. Try some chubby checker. Bet u see a massive growth change like u have never seen before.

aha mongo frog nice sn...i agree a little lst and some classical music (as classical has been shown on myth busters to have the best effect) will do wonders for your yield as opposed to just letting it grow

I'm only on my first grow so i can't really say that i have tried anything besides super cropping... but i found it easy and simple... I heard some strains react better than others so i would suggest you check on that as well if you decide to try it.. if by any chance you are growing white widow... hey this strain reacts perfect to it

just make sure if you decide to super crop that you at least veg for 8 weeks and have room for bushy plants

hmm 8 weeks veg not my cup of tea...nor is harming my plants but i have seen people do well with super cropping

yah mate, 8 weeks is pretty long but i don't have a mother plant to get clones from and i wanted the plant to mature enough for a decent crop.. hahaha yes its seriously beating them down but like the old sayings goes.. what doesn't kill them... make them stronger... and they seriously come back with more leaves and branches

with defoliation you are just taking away leaves, not productive growth. and as long as you do not do to much, you will see increased yields at the bottom of the plant.

and thanks everybody.

I use a combination of training, topping, and supercropping with netting....works very well with my strain especially. What is lollipopping?

The key of F played for 3-4 hours a day intermittently is tried and true. Too much F kills them. Hardcore Heavy Metal is the newest rage...it really fires em up.

lollipopping is removing the bottom third of branches and all vegetation and usually done on small clones in sog making them all look like those long suckers....defoliation can be very bad removing the larger fan leaves especially i have seen this affect yield negatively...unless you just remove leaves from the very bottom..ill agree removing certain growth can be good but very very sparingly

If you top them a couple times you'll get a hedge with like 4-6 tops. If you open her up in the last few weeks of flowering the lower bud sites will get more light and this will increase your yield. Also if you give each pot a quarter turn every day this will also ensure that all the plants get a more even distribution of light, another way to increase yield. Lastly, there are many bud swelling products out there and these are typically given during the last 1-2 weeks of flowering and are good for increasing yield in those last couple of weeks.

I use LST until 2 weeks old or so, than I do super cropping and scrog during the entire veg.
