I'm planning to build a LED Strip light for veg and flower rooms.
Veg tent is 4x2, i have been looking at the 4ft strips for this build, planning to mount them on aluminium strips + frame.
In flower I run a 600w hps scrog in a 3x3 area, I want to try and get the same sort of yields in the space if I can, and im hoping an LED Strip build will give me pretty good coverage. Was thinking around 350w+ of power for 3x3 with a dimmer, if it's a bit too much. I have 8ft of headroom as well.
I've done a bit of research and had a look at some builds on LED gardener but electrics is not my strong point and it seems a bit confusing. Not sure what temps will be like with the strips mounted on ali flat bar but hopefully they will keep it quite cool.
I would use heat sinks but as im from the UK it's pretty pricey for what its worth!
If anyone could help with best strips / driver to use it would be appreciated, i'm happy to pay a bit more for samsung strips as well.
