Help with 2 Week Old Seedlings

Please have a look at these 10 seedlings and offer opinions on how they're coming along... they're two weeks old... the strain is AK-47, 50% sativa 50% indica.

They have been growing under a 400w MH at a distance of about 20"...
I also had side lighting from a cool white fluorescent tube about 2" away to help prevent stretching... from the looks of them stretching has not been a problem... they're still quite short.

They are growing in rapid rooter plugs... the first week I fed them only tap water... they started yellowing slightly so I've added seedling nutrients to the mix and they seem to have responded well.

What do u think?

they look great to my right now, just pH your solution well you going to feed and you should be fine;) those seedlings look strong and healthy to me:) just don't hit them with full strength nutes right away, but i guess you won't do that anyway:D

If the tips are yellowing a bit, it could be from the chlorine in your tap water. Maybe try and let the watering jug sit out in the open for a day or so; so that crap can evaporate.

I haven't done any ph testing... don't have a test kit yet... but I did leave the water out for a day to get rid of the chlorine.

thanks, how long does one figure i shud keep my little buddy's in veg for?
Well hoping they are female... You should keep them in veg until they fill up 1/3 of the grow space if indoors and have at least 4 nodes the longer you vege the bigger they will be as they tripple in size during flowering so how big they get is up to you and the size of the pot or the size of your grow.

I personally am leaving mine on 24 hour light....they are doing great...they had a bit of trouble like your we left our H2o out and they were fine....as for how long to veg....I would just leave them, baby them let them get BIG then they are most likely to survive, you can also weed out any males so you can do as you please with them,.... remember if you bought feminized seeds you still are not 100% sure you will get all females....it is just supposta be a hihger success rate. I will not waste my money on Fem. seeds as I can sex my own prior to going outside......SO if I were you let them veg for as long as possible and 18/6 18 off/6 on is okay too. I just do 24 on......while in veg. The bigger they get the better....pests aren't as likley to be your robber...if they get big and strong....GL...hope this helps....BTW there is no right or wrong when it comes to vegging light hours....18/6 vs. 24 I have done it bothe ways....I think with MH you are better to give the seedlings a break from the intense light I only veg under CFL's and flours...long tubes...(grow lights) I try ot get the most lumens I can....GL again...

thanks for the tips bro, but my plan is to get them to a decent size nd put them outside, they've broke the surface of the dirt already and are just starting to unfold the first set of leaves so....my next question would be, shud i either jus put them outside even tho it gets pretty cold at night, or continue my method, nd move them outside at a later date?

No when you first have a seedling put it on 24 hours of light or 18 depending on what you think is best, and after bout 2-3 weeks take them outside, and let them thrive

Those seedlings look excellant!! I wish that i could get mine to look that good! I am having a hell of a time trying to raise some seedlings i can get them to germ fine but i have'nt had any sucess getting them past the first leaves starting to get jealous of all of you guys and your beautiful seedlings. However i am using Rockwool instead of soil for hydroponics purposes, Although i'm starting to ponder the thought of trying to start in soil then transfer to RW not sure? i got another round on the go 4 this time so hopefully at least one ****en grows! What kinda soil did you use? i would probably just get soil from walmart is their anything they sell that i could use? and where can i buy Super Thrive?
