HELP what is eating my plants? (pic)

Could someone please tell me what is causing this damage to my plants. It is on every plant, they are all kept outside unless the weather is really bad.
It is all over my plants but I cant seem to find any bugs.
It is getting worse by the day.
Any suggestions??

im not much of an expert.
but it well looks like a catiplller has been at it! you can see the little bites. if it was me id deffinately think it was a catipillar.
you should think about getting some catipillar spray.

Yeah, could be a caterpillar, or inchworm. You should take a close look under the leaves, and maybe you can find the little bastard, and kill it. Those green inchworms are damn near invisible among the foliage, so look closely.

Thanks for your suggestions. I will look again. It has to be more than one as I have it on every plant (20 plants).
I am going to wait until tonight as a lot of slugs and such are nocturnal.
If anyone else has any suggestions please dont be shy.

i use corey slug and snail bait. i just poor it around the perimiter of my grow and they don't croos the line..
