Help w/ carbon filter!!

I need some help building a carbon filter. I built this Zen micro filter...https://www.rollitup.org/do-yourself/101248-best-diy-ez-walmart-carbon.html and I hooked it up to a 95cfm pc fan. But the problem is that the fan is not strong enough to push air through it. This is the strongest pc fan I could find. The air basically comes back down the other way. Anyone know how can make this work?

My grow space is very small, only big enough for 2 short plants. So a pc fan is all the ventilation i need and all the carbon filters sold are too big i think

sometimes the smaller the box, the more airflow you will need to keep heat down.. And no PC fan is gonna be strong enough for a filter.

A pc fan might be good enough for the size of your box all else aside, but NO PC FAN CAN SUFFICIENTLY MOVE AIR THROUGH A CARBON FILTER.. They're not only puny and weak, they're also the wrong fan for the job.. Axial fans (propeller fans) do not handle obstructions well at all.. They are designed for free flowing areas..
You really do need a bathroom fan or better for that job.. The smallest one would likely be enough, but no promises.. They can be silenced with some work and ingenuity, and the filter itself will act as a silencer.. Make sure you don't insulate the motor itself or it will burn out or worse.. The noise level will still be higher, its something you just gotta accept..
BTW if you do buy a bathroom fan get a few orange marettes.. You can use a cord from something else to tie the fan to a typical socket.. When you buy a bathroom fan its wired to be tied directly to other wires..
