Help! Two simple questions about scrog

yoo guys..ive done quite enough research on SCROG to try it out...

Heres what im working with

Tent: 4 feet long 2 feet wide and 6 feet tall

Canopy 4 weed long 2 feet wide

Seeds 4 FEM blue mystic

Lights 400 watt aircool hood with prime exhuast n intake


Questions:


1..Do you think 8-9 inches is where i shoul place the canopy over the rim of the pots?

2. Would you think topin each plant to make it easier to fill in the canopy quicker?

3. When inducin flowering, should i do itwhen coalas are a few inches over the screen? or pull em back under then switch to flower.

THANKS GUYS ANY ADVICE WOULD BE MAD APPRECIATED

1. You can lower the screen a little but if that's where you want the canopy it'll work fine but your lower canopy won't get much light penetration if any.
2. Yes you can top your plants to fill the screen quicker.
3. You should switch to 12/12 when about 75% of the screen is filled, the rest will fill up during flower.

scrogg is fun, but lots of work.. i like the canopy @ about 9" but i trim every thing lower than 8" for pest control and air flow..have fun!
