Hi, I have a 2 small pots with about 10 sprouts in each, they are all very small... nearing a inch each maybe. Very young... just started sprouting a couple days ago. The pots are maybe like 3inches across or more.

All the plants are all very close to one another.. And I was wondering how should I go about trying to transplant them.

Is now the best time to move them, when they are small and the roots aren't entangled?

Should I wait until they become bigger and grow bigger roots and thin them at the same time?

Basically, I know I can save quite a bit of them, but I want to know the best way to go about doing this...

This picture of sprouting resembles them... cept mine are a bit smaller( less than a inch)

Should i just give it a go right now??? =D

Soulfly,
get separate cups, fill with soil and moisten them, also put plants in while still young you don't want these huge plants being moves with long roots.

Yeah.. i have 4 cups ready right now.

Should I soak the plant first, then trowel them out to the best of my ability???
Or would It crush their roots

If it is not weed. then take the pot in your right hand, and shack out the soil and seedlings into your left hand. Once this is completed sit the pot down. Take your right hand and very carefully loosen the soil and seperate the plants.

One time when i was having trouble with a soil grow at 3 weeks in. I gave up and decided to put my plants into one of my hydro systems. I took the plants out of the pots and so very, very carefully washed off the roots under luke warm water, then shoved them into my hydro system. They did great, they did not stress or anything. All 4 of them grew fast and strong.

I had a buddy of mine who's parents owned a nursier. They grew plants and such things also. They did not buy everything. they would take plants out of the pots and just split them apart and shove them into new pots. They truely man handled the plants and they lived.
