WELCOME NEWBIE.
Bangers is not a pro grower or a total expert even after 8/9 years of growing i to am still learning but here is some tips that may or may not help you.
The 1st mistake people make is over feeding, plants love routine i-e getting fed at the same time, so if you start to feed your plants just as the lights come on (which is best) then stick to that, i find every 3/4th day is best but again at the same time.
The 2nd mistake people make is over fussing yipp you have got a new hobby and you just cant leave them alone, they are weeds leave them alone they do grow in the wild with no help and do fine.
Number 3, lights down to low when they pop up their little heads they are babies if your light is down to low you will cook them burn them and yes they will die i find for a 400watt hid light 1.4 mtr is a good height, as they get bigger and stronger lower it just a little at a time.
4 a fan, once again people blast these little poor things with a big fuck off fan wrong try and let the air hit a wall or something so the babies get the breeze 2nd hand again they will thank you.
NUMBER 5 nuits, you give a plant veg at the start and just a little even if the bottle says 7ml per ltr you give it 1or2 ml per ltr again build up as it gets stronger, when the plant shows its sex then start to give it bloom again build that up then start to back off at the end, for me the last 2 weeks it should be getting flushed (this means just water) makes such a better smoke.
NUMBER 6 SEEDS, do some research on what you want to grow how tall they are going to be etc. if you grow the seeds that mate gave you then thats a gamble cos you and me know shit all about their back ground, i feel to start off YOU CANT GO WRONG WITH DUTCH PASSION i lived in holland for 3 years and learned alot from in my opinion the masters, after all it is legal and you will not get more laid back people who are 100% deadicated to what they do than the DUTCH, FACT.
EVERYONE has their own way of doing things and their own fav strain that grows 10ft high giving buds the size of a large sofa, but this is my way you make up your own mind and the best of scottish luck to you. Bangers.
