that's a haze for you, stretch city,... you could try to lower your lights, that might stunt it a bit or at worst, chop some heads off to make other lower ones get to the same height.

thanks for the tip but i currently have to have the light right up to the top of my tent. its still stretching it seems to be wanting to go up the side of my air cooled shade where there is little light. i have also tried bending them around but the stalks are to woody and just want to snap. any other ideas?

Use a nutrient that is very low on N (if you're feeding any of it) and keep your night temperature very close to what it is when the lights on. High difference between day and night temperature makes your plants stretch a lot. Also using blue-spectrum lights (MH) instead of orange-spectrum lights (HPS) for the first few weeks of bloom and keeping them as close as possible to your plants (without light/heat burn) is another effective method that I use.

thank you but i have cut the nitrogen out as much as possible. i have also changed from a MH to a HPS about 18 days into the flowering cycle. i think i have tried all the basic methods and still no joy. any other ideas would be greatly appreciated
