Get a flashlight and look for spider silk strings, spidermites most likely, not a huge deal. Get some safer insect soap and spray em. I advise alternating with a good water misting after 2 days to clean the leaves of the soap. Or you can go a massage each leave and smash each little guy manually, or rinse of the foliage especially the undersides with water. They feed on the undersides of the leaves and if left unchecked can kill your plant. The spotty leaves are the first thing to look for, I spray every 3 months in mild doses more frequently lately as my hydro plants had a clone introduced that hatched a buttload of spidermites.I know how it goes. Stay vigilent...and keep it clean! Then there is the fun of searching surrounding plants as they can spread, and eggs stay dormant a looong time.

;)

I'd mist some water to see if you find any tiny webs. The stippling and spotting I see in your pics (focus makes it tough) and you saying something white? I'd suspect the whitefly. Theres a sticky on this board that covers them, check out the pictures until you find something that looks close. PM me if you can't figure it out.

cheers lads, yeah i been looking up and everything points at thrips i think! but do i really want to be spraying things on them at this stage into flowering? and to be honest i cant be botherd to scrub every leaf! and this insect soap, some special soap? i have no hydro shops near me so most comes off net. also i have looked at other forums last night and a few others with same problem are going to ride it out n hope for the best because there a fair bit into flowering! i know i have a good few weeks but how much damage can they actually do?

you'll be alright...thrips arent that bad, but in the future buy that azamax shit if you can...and soak those bitches every 3 days under the leaf and on the tops when they are in veg, and it will defeat those lil bastards.. ive had the same problem and thats what i did...worked like a charm
