HELP!! Resin glands question

I just read the FAQ on harvesting and resin glands. I always thought they started cloudy, went clear and then amber. OOOPS!

I see from the FAQ that they start clear, THEN cloudy, and then amber.

I have a mini microscope. All of my resin glands are pretty cloudy. Can I harvest?

I grew a dwarf, so it does not look like much, but the resin glands are def' cloudy.

Advice?

cut it down if thats the buzz you want.

That is what I am thinking then. This is my first grow, so I am not sure if that is what I want.

However, I suppose I will not know until I try. I can leave them get more amber or a mix next time, I suppose.

I just wanted to be sure I was reading that FAQ correctly. Cloudy is good, as far as being able to harvest, eh? (ignoring preferences, but focusing on maturity)

Cloudy is good, as this is the point of THC readiness. Amber is the point of THC degradation, although the cannabinoid it degrades into is quite good as well, and is known for it's theraputic and "couch lock" properties.

I like to wait for a few amber trichs for this reason, but if you harvest now, you should get a nice "up" high, without too much of the energy-sapping couch lock effect.

cloudy is the normal time to harvest. I personally prefer more gone than that. The feeling that the laptop weighs a ton and the thought that the walk to the kitchen for munchies will be the hardest thing I ve ever done!lol

Thanks all.

Def will let you know about the Dwarfs. I am strapped for space, so was my only option. She smells great, and looks great. So, hopefully will be. Thanks for the reassurance! Time to harvest. LOL! :weed:

Oh man, what a good smoke. This stuff is super powerful. What a great buzz. A little of this goes a long way, so the small yield is OK.

Only problem was the small yield, but what can I expect from a dwarf? So, no biggie, and def the way to go for someone with space limitations. I planted a second one already. I also had some bad burn on my last plant, and it was not very bushy.

I planted a second one, and did not make the mistake of using too much nut this time. Looks MUCH fatter/fuller than the last one already. This pic is at about 3-4 weeks after it poked through the soil?
