so i am in a unfortunet situation. my plants have been growing outside in the ground for the past month and 1/2 and i now must put them in pots and bring them inside. i have about 10 plants about 3ft tall(dont know if males or females but i do know when to pull them)
i plan on 4 4' T5 HO 6500K and 4-5 2700K CFL'S
I also plan to continue their vege inside with 18/6 light cycle, in about a month want to switch them to 12/12 to flower. The small room will also be covered in reflective material

ANY SUGGESTIONS. you can save me from the dilema i am faced with, and help my harvest survive

First off, are you sure you can't see some sex on those plants? If they have vegged to 3 ft. tall, most strains would have shown by then. Your T5 and CFLs are not going to be anywhere near enough light to flower those properly ( maybe if you got a TON of CFLs)- you would need a 600w minimum to really do them justice.

And you want to veg them another month? So they get bigger ? You are going to need 1000w HIDs for those 5 footers..

positive that i cant judge the sex, the internode area is still producing leaves.
but isnt 4 4' t5's 216 watts
the the 5 cfl's @125watts each
so that totals out at 841watts

That light will not be enough for 10 plants that are 3+ ft. high , soon to be 5-6ft. high after the flowering stretch.....it's not just the watts you need to look at, it's single source vs. a bunch of little lights that won't put a dent in your 10 plants.

well without the use of the HPS how can i make it work?
also my plants are by no means full with vegetation in the bottom half. tall and kind of skinny but very healthy. that is why i feel the need to vege for a little once they go inside. dont forget that i dont know the sex so a week into flowering several plants might be coming out.

maybe bring them in and switch right to flowering better idea?
i kno its a bad situation but i just need to get it going.

I HAVE FAITH IN MY BABIES(just point me in a better direction
-thanks
