Help i cant seem to figure out what is going on with my plants!!!! i have been talking with a user on here and he said it was most likely a cal or mag pproblem so i uped my calmax to 14 mil for tel liters and it got worse!! I have been trying to look at charts and such to figure out with no luck, i want to flush it with distilled water but want to make sure thats what to do first. MY TEMS are always under 80 and im growing with 400 m.h and 150 hps combined at moment. I am going to be going into flower when i figure this out cause they are 21 inches tall!!!! You are either locked-up and need to flush, or she has a serious nute deficiency.
What soil is it, and what nutrients and at what amounts do you use?
That way, we can help you figure it out! ;)

My ph is a solid 6 and the run off is 6 :)

My soil is lamberts all purpose ph balanced and i add fifty fifty with perlite and i have marbles at the bottom with work castings in the soil.

I am using optimum hydroponix two part with their brand b1 seaweed supplement and grotec calmax cause i am using distilled water. I do not have a ppm as it broke and i cant buy another as of yet! :( i am feeding them on the full dose on the label now, i slowly built up to it and had no problems till now. And have been at full dose for 1 month or so

Optimum hydroponix Grow is a 2-part (A&B) nutrient formula developed to work together to create a complete plant food. Follow the blending directions listed below carefully.

Blend recommended for vigorous growth of plants that flower and/or bear fruit:
1) Add 20 ml of part B into 10 litres of water.
2) Then add 20 ml of part A.
3) Adjust the pH to 5.8.
4) You now have 10 litres of Optimum solution ready for use. Note: When plants are ready for the flowering stage, switch to Optimum A&B Flowering formula nutrient.

Blend recommended for the growth stage of non-flowering leafy green plants. Follow the blending directions above using only 10 ml of Part B and 10 ml of Part A per 10 litres of water. product_10950174_image.png

I think its MG deficiancy i dont think its calcium because your not getting those little brown rust looking spots first... that being said you nee to check your PH level's first and address that issue just because you used cal-mag doesn't mean your plant can absorb them if your not in the correct ph range (6-6.5) is ideal... after you check and address your PH the fastest way to fix MG deficiancy is you can foliar feed your plant epsom salts at the rate of 1 teaspoon per gallon of water (of course at correct ph) or if you want you can probably do these steps backwards as foliar feeding it doesn't matter what the PH in the soil is because its bypassing that part but you still need to address it as you will just have this problem all over again but any other information will help let us know what nutes your using and your sched and everything the more info the better good luck :leaf:

we posted at the same time lol MG deficiency occurs most commonly when using distilled water (which you are using) that has a low ppm count ....

yes-- AND 6.0 is NOT optimum for soil.. you should be at 6.5-7.0.... 6.0 is for Hydroponics...
You need to get the pH up, and also find a feeding schedule... these plants do not do well on a 'full strength" diet.. unless it is a specific strain of MJ that is a heavy feeder- and those are few.

Flush your plants-- wait a few days, then use your nutrients at 1/2 rate and add some epsom salts for magnesium- or get a complete micro-nutrient solution like Earth Juice Micro blast to add-in once every couple weeks.

depends on how good your tap water is... i have used tap water where im located and have to change the PH level very little i only leave it out for 24hours to let the chlorine evaporate and have yet to have a problem for the past 3 seasons... as long as your PH is balanced and your using proper nutes than you should be fine either using distilled or tap... as for yellowing leaves i cut them off when they are about 3/4 dead keep us posted good luck :leaf:
