Help! plants growing to tall

It's time for some low stress training(LST). You'll have to bend the main growing tip and tie it down with string or something, so it'll grow sideways rather than upwards. Do a search on LST and you should be able to find more info, then decide what you want to do with your's. :)

I currently have an indoor grow in a 4X6X72 grow tent my light is at the max height and the plants are in the 1st week of flowering, does any1 have a solution, any help greatly appreciated :?
Never wanna grow em past 20"(veg)...

Im in the same scenario... I have hydro bucket plants at 35" veg... oh boy!

Didnt think they would grow this fast.

Your plant will still triple in size, give or take a bit. If its already touching your lights at max distance, you're pretty screwed to be frank.... :( Training and tying down will only last so long. You kept the plant in veg mode for about 2 weeks too long it looks. :(

Did you figure it out?? I ran into the same problem with my first grow, a lot of people seem to, and I find "super cropping" works the best because you control the height of the plant better. $nutter has a going journal with a super cropped plant and some explanations... Read through that it'll defiantly give you some food for though for the next grow!!!

Bend your uppermost branches at 90 degrees until they crease and stay that way. I know it sounds counter intuitive, but they will mend themselves within a couple of days - I did not notice any decrease in growth rate when I did mine. I only did a couple on each plant every other day or so, since I was wary of trying it in the first place and didn't want to stress the plants too much at any one time. The good news is that mine quit gaining height (and continued to gain mass) at about a month into flowering, my last grow was only my second and I was afraid there was no way I was going to be able to finish it at the rate they were going, but everything ended up fine. I didn't look at your setup closely before responding (and can't see your pics now), but is it possible to drop your containers at all and gain space from the bottom?

Just looked at the pics again - train those puppies, you have plenty of space around the edges, this will help with light penetration and help to fatten up lower buds.
