HELP, Plants dying IDK what to do

Ok so this is kind of a complicated issue, and I want to apologize ahead of time for not having pictures, I don't have a camera right now. I'm new to this forum and growing in general and I'm really hoping some of you experts can help me out here.
I planted 7 seeds, just bag seed, about 4 weeks ago. I used miracle grow potting soil mixed with some vermiculite and put them under about 50 watts of CFLs in a small cab with no real ventilation or anything. I have the light cycle set to 20/4. They sprouted up pretty quickly and they looked pretty good. I had to go back to school, so I had someone else take care of them for me. When I came home this last wednesday, they were starting to develop some yellowing on the bottom leaves, and they hadn't grown nearly as much as I thought they would. They're still only a few inches high, and although they all have about 8 or 10 leaves, they're all very small. I attribute their stunted growth to the lack of light which i thought wouldn't be a problem because as of this weekend I moved them into a new bigger cab with about 300 watts of CFls. As for the yellowing leaves, I went on this forum and tried to diagnose the problem, I figured it could either be from lack of nutrients or their Ph being off. I tested the ph and they all seemed to be close to 8. So I fed them 20-20-20 plant food thinking that would even out the ph and make up for them being malnurished, and put a little lime juice in their food to help bring down the ph. But each day that passed they seemed to be getting worse and worse. And as of today some of them are completely yellow and developing a lot of brown spots. The leaves are very brittle, even those that are still green. The poor plants just seem to be completely shriveling up and dying. Now I'm begining to think they're either suffering nutrient burn or heat stress. The area itself is bigger, and now has a fan, but there are no real holes in the cab for it to bring fresh air in. I don't have a thermometer so I cant tell the temp exactly but it feels very hot, like 90's at least. I didn't think it could be heat stress in the beginning because it was only on the bottom leaves, but now its all over, and happening very quickly, like a noticeable difference in only 24 hours. So i turned off most of the lights, now I have about 100 watts on, to cool it down, and fed them a lot of filtered water to help flush the nutes if that's the problem. unfortunately I won't be back to work on them for 2 weeks, and I can only hope they'll last that long. But I'll have my friend checking on them and watering them(just filtered water for now). If anyone has any idea what this could be I'm in desperate need of help.

Hey sorry dont have a camera, can't get pics right now. I adjusted the ph tho, its closer to 6/7. Is that still too high? also would that be the reason my plants are shriveling up so rapidly?

thanks for the tip hiroshima, but do you think it could get into such a bad state so quickly from a lack of those other nutrients? Also do you have any knowledge of miracle grow potting soil in regards to that? i've read that although its not the best, its not terrible.

The problem with miracle grow is that it trie to be an all in one product rather than a feed that has been formulated for cannabis. You would be better off going for a nutrient free soil like canna professional plus, and then using feeds like bioveg and biobloom. I would imagine you will get alot better results :) just remember if you do go down the route of nutrient free soil, to us the macro nutrient feeds like algamic. Give them some rhizotonic to aid root development and some cannozyme which will grow good bacteria over the roots to protect them from diseases. I have seen excellent results by using a bloom enhancer at the same time as the biobloom. Bioboost is a great enhancer.

By the way. Everything including the soil I mentioned above is organic

20-20-20 on top of MG soil, your plants will probably burn up for sure, if they are crunchy sounds like underwatering, or heat stress. and the Yellow if you PH is at 8 could be locking out the nutrients from your plant, which does not mean ADD more nutrients, it means lower your PH so your Plant can absorb what is Iam sure plenty of already in there.

OK, so you're saying the plants wouldn't be crunchy from nute burn or the high ph? They definitely aren't being underwatered, cause I watered them a lot the past few days, and they're only getting worse. And is it possible to have both nutrient burn and high ph, if the ph is locking out the nutes could it still be getting burned from them?

Another thing I forgot to mention was that the soil is drying up very fast, like within 24 hours. This makes me think it would be from excessive heat. If the soil dries out so fast then the plants must be too right?
