You know..I just realized something. I made the bucket light proof by wrapping it in duct tape...but I don't think I ever did the lid...me being forgetful. Is that possibly a cause of this?

it could have something to do with it... have you seen any signs of root rot? pix would realy help....
They are a bit tan. I also checked on the lid..its covered with Al. tape. I paint a bunket today just in case the duct tape on the side wasn't doing the job. I'll get pics, but its going to late,

I didn't have my normal camera..but this should give an idea. I just came out of 12 hours dark. It looks worse when the lights are on for 12. The pics have a bit of yellowing unfortunately

Cugine,
I am not sure if it was the lighting or what. So maybe what I think is totally wrong. But those roots look terrible to me. They have a bad golden color to them. Mine are always a pure white color, with fuzzy little roots coming off of them. Are you useing anything like Hygrozyme, or maybe Sensizyme. I think you plant is freaking out from root rot starting. Get you nose right down on those roots and take a big wiff. I really hope I am wrong. I will be most happy if so. I have heard that Voo-doo juice does even better then the two items I talked about. But it cost an ASS load of money. like $90 a small bottle. But you can find it for $54 on the web. I am thinking of useing it once I run out of my Sensizyme.

Good luck on your recovery.

I think that its probably a multitude of things, I think the ppms are high, especially in relation to the size of the plant, ph could probably be out and the roots do look a bit brown.
