help , one plant drooping looks dead

Whats the water temp? I would be looking at lack of dissolved oxygen due to high temps as a cause. I'm a real newb so really just a shot in the dark. I did have to start adding ice to my res last couple of days to get it down to under 70. I typically shut things down right about now due to heat and move outside.

res is 25 / 77

im wondering if its just a weak clone/plant. can anyone shed any light on a single plant dying out of a batch of the same clones from the same plant , same conditions in NFT. one dies .. the other 2 are ok. If this can happen , it may stop me worrying that this is gonna spread to the other 2 healthy plants.

if your rez temp is at 77 you will need to add some additives or tea to combat against root problems .unless you can get those temps down a little.weird situation you got going on but if she aint lookin any better I would pull her out.good luck bro

But at this point i feel i should clue you in to something i learned a long time ago. DONT TAKE SOME RANDOM's ADVICE without properly researching first!! you'll only mess your grows up over and over lol.

In your case your roots are to blame, more specifically your water temp. Not enough oxygen to the roots. Your roots being "off white" is a problem. And adding superthrive to the mix just fucked it all up. I hope i'm wrong. But ive been there.

Next time take the random's advice with a grain of salt, type it into google, see thousands of people saying "my res temps were xxx and adding superthrive made things go from bad to worse!!" And then go hit the ignore button on said random.

Back to your problem, your roots should be white if they are truly healthy. Even if you mix in used motor oil cause some random said to. Healthy roots = white. No matter what they're in. "But i use flora micro and i read that..." NO. White.

My suggestion is to look into live vs sterile res. google it. Spend a week learning something you will use for years. Then choose live res, brew a tea and you're done.

Remember i am a random as well and this advice should be taken with a grain of salt.

I run a sterile res so know nothing about beneficials in res. Can you allow for higher res temps using beanies?

Absolutely. If your tea is brewed properly. My mothers sit in single bucket dwc and the water is 79-83f. Waayy too hot. But since I add tea every 3 days they grow like a weed.

Hmmm I'll have to look into that to extend my season! Its now to hot here without cooling!
