Well this is the story, atm im currently growing a few plants only for a mate as he wants them for cuttings later on :D its in a 37" w, 20" depth, 70" Height roughly i have no ventilation just a load of pots with coco soils, nutes, phosphoric acid for ph control and one big mother heaven of a light its a 250w CFL 6700k daylight ( Its beyond huge )

Due to the gact it has no ventilation and such there doing great slow start but now there shooting up except one which i nearly lost but afte ra flush and nutes hes slowely on the mend ( fingers crossed )

So heres the deal i want a bigger room but i wnt it to be perfect ventilation lights u name it i dont want to hit many problems half way through

I was thinking a 3ft depth, 5-6ft height, 6-8 ft length :D

So what will i need ? i do have a budget not much but it may be possible to do this :D

-Ive seen a 600w quantum ballast for 131 GBP ( whats your opinions on these ? any good and is it worth the money ?
- What reflector should i get for this ? any recommendations?
- What bulbs should i look at any recommendations?
- How will I Connect my ventilation and what ventialtion would I need ? any recommendations?

So basically i pretty much as positive with that ballast but dont know nuthing else so any contributions i would appreciate

Also Will 600w light and ballast be able to cover a room of that size without the plants suffering if not what size room would u recommend for that size wattage?

thx alot

Hey there,

The more watts you add, the more you'll need to address heat issues.

Buying stuff that doesn't work well is going to cost you more money in the long run. You need air cooled hood and nice fans. That's about it.
