Help: Newly germinated seeds keep popping out of AG pods (pics)

I just put these seeds in my aerogarden a few days ago and they have sprouted, but it seems like the roots dont want to dig through the medium, and instead just push the seed up ward. Any tips? will this correct its self eventually?


Any help would be greatly appreciated, i am new to this whole thing

The same thing happened to me.....Very carefully using tweezers pick up the seed, try not to touch the taproot...place it aside
Take the sponge out and either cut in in half, keeping a hinge like a book, OR use a poker and poke a hole all the way thru the grow sponge.......Then re-insert the germmed seed, tap root facing down about 1/8 of an inch down....also make sure the grow sponge is at the very bottom of the basket.

im not sure really what your asking. they look fine to me . when i usually start mine i dont fill the cup all the way then after they start to grow ill top off with some more soil and it helps support them. and a circulating fan blowing gently on them imo helps them grow sturdy.

it should fix itself. one of mine was doing that for a few days, but eventually when it got its leaves out the shell just fell off after some time.

thats how they look alot of times when they first pop out of the soil

I use the same plugs. With mine I took tweezers and placed the seed with the tap root down in to sponge. then i took a few pieces of crumpeld sponge and coverd over the seed so when you water the seed would not float up and turn on you. You should be good after that.
