help needed with watering a transplant.

I just transplanted 2 of my clones that are now in veg, they were turning yellow and dying, i narrowed it down to the cheap soil i believe. they are each 7 inches tall, i planted them in 2 gallon pots with cow manuer- peat moss and mg potting soil. They are under a 400w hps, my question is-- should i water them right away? and because the new mix has nutes already in it should it be just water until they get bigger? thanks to all the experts i have survived some land mines.lol,

MG is NOT the soil you want to be using for clones man! That shit time releases nutes and that's nothing that a clone would need. You want something more like Fox Farms soil...good stuff. As for water, you'll want to keep the soil moist but not wet. Also, 400W is a big light if you are just putting clones under them. If possible, put them under a flouro, at least until they root.
