HELP NEEDED: Possible Pythium? (root rot) Burnt spots and darkening stem

Hi- Ive been looking all over the net for some help and I hope I've found it.

<I am growing in a Soil/perlite 4/1 mix in a greenhouse and outside- I have grown in both these areas before. I feed with liquid seaweed, Ionic Boost and Baby bio (lol). Planted in mid-april and are flowering slowly>

First noticed a prob on my indoor greenhouse plant- Leaves had been yellowing around bottom for a while (4 or 5 leaves) and seemed to have (necrotic?) spots- tips lighten slightly but are not burnt. Also there is like an outline of a leaf almost bleached onto some burnt patches- as if a leaf above had stenciled it (Hard to describe I will try to get a photo). We have been having very crappy wet and dark weather so at first I thought it was just extra sensitive to the sun and I know I overfed the indoor a few weeks back but then I noticed a slight darkening at the bottom of the stem, just one section a very slight reddy-brown- I may be imagining this as i read up about Pythium disease (root rot) beforehand- This stem section also seems a little resinous and sticky.
Also (sob) There are many white "noblets" - numerous tiny white dotted bumps coming up from the base of the stem- I had not panicked previously about these as the stem is getting wider and I am used to it becoming textured with age- but now i have noticed it spreading onto the underside of the lowest leaves. This also looks present on the two outdoor plants.
We have had alot of rain and not much Sun this year but otherwise conditions are similar to ones that have been succesful to me in the past.
PLEASE HELP- If it is root-rot what can I do? the outdoor plants look less affected and the weather is (slowly) improving- Should i risk transplanting such a large plant (me-height atm and very wide) outside? Thankyou for reading.

Please note that these are very early symptoms- It looks like the outdoor ones may even make it through budding- GODDAM this weather

Correction- I do have burnt tips on the indoor- some are blackened or dark- also had a peek on the underside and found a load of black/greenfly or something having a party- could this be the cause of the tiny bumps on the stem??? grr stressing me out and I need a smoke :(

to be honest it looks pretty damn healthy and usually a little discoloration will happen check pot size maybe need a bigger pot , check ph, also the spots on the stem is fine thats just natural growing. Other than this everything seems fine or should seem fine also amke sur your using nutrients properly they're easy to use but very hard at the same time so make sure your using them right also that they arent locked up. it doesnt look like its locked but maybe on its way? keep up the good work, definetly.

hey man my plants have this shit to, not sure what it is but it started only recently, mind you my plants have been moved 3 times at various stages in growth from planter to beside my house to the bush, when i moved them from house to bush i washed the roots off maybe this has had something to with it, anyway right now is august 13-2010 i planted them sometime at the begining of april, they still look good tho minus those bumps, o also when i moved mine out to the bush the entire plants with the exception of the stems were eating by bugs there were litterally not 1 leave on them but i am pleased to announce there now doing bigger and better then my buddy who got clones lol hes pissed cuz mine are so thick and juicy

Indeed the stem thing was me panicking- while ago now... I've had strains since that have almost got little 'barbs' that grow near the base before it forms that kind of 'bark-like' layer on some big plants...

As for the 'moistening of the stalk... maybe... maybe that bark-transition again... was so apparent on the 'Khola'... :)

all the spot problems were no doubt nasty moulds as it was an awful year under glass! almost like someone had dropped a spec of tar on the leaves (i was looking up for ages :D )

Am now fully indoors with the odd side-project ;)
