help needed plz

Ok guys....I got two bag seed photos that just hit week 4 of flower. All going well but my problem...I have three super skunk auto's that r for bho and freebie seeds so I have them on day 10 under 225w mixed cfl for 20/4. My question is will I get more from the autos under the cfls for the 20/4 or under the hps for 12/12.

Plz note I am aware that less light hrs with autos would make yeild smaller but im wondering would the extra light of the dual spectrum hps compensate for the fewer light hrs.

Seriously from what iv heard read and learned, having a mix of light spectrums is good. I did a last grow last year and had a 2700k, 3000k, 4000k, 5000k, 6500k cfl mix veg through to harvest and it was great. Also the blue light during flower helps with potency. Something to do with molecules im not 100% sure on how it works but it does. But mixing light spectums is a good idea. But in veg have more blue and in flower have more red light. But a mix is good.

i think i understand. you're in week 4 of flower so if you put the auto's into the 12/12 hps it would only be temporary (i'm guessing another 4 weeks).whereas you could have had them under 20/4 that whole time instead of going from 12/12 back to 20/4. you don't mention the hps power but regardless it is higher up due to the height of flowering plant. regardless of spectrum you're at a fine line of light intensity. imo it's best to stay under the cfl's at 20/4. you can keep them closer and you said they're mixed so a change at this stage would not be beneficial any way you cut it.

Ok cool ty for ur advice....sorry didnt mention power the hps is a 600w dual spectrum. And ueah sorta right but once the photos done I would keep the autos undr the hps just up the light hrs again. Bur if u think better to leave as is I will....ty for help

I don't think 12/12 will drastically decrease your yield if any. I always start a few autos with my photos so theres some decent some while waiting for the photos to finish. Ive done an auto grow under 20/4 and didn't see much of a difference with yield when I compared it to autos that had a few weeks of 12/12. Good Luck

Update....I put the smaller of the autos in with the hps on 12/12 and guess what....she is no longer the smallest :) she is now larger than both the others with an extra 2 inches of growth and also a lot more side branching. Ty all for ur help one love!!
