HI all,
Long time ago I was a soil man, swore by Batmix, but I have now moved to a Hydro system. A Wilma8 (2015 version) pot system, currently running 3 pots with 14 clones in place.
So been a lazy stoner that I am it taken me longer than I’d like to get to where I am so maybe that has a bearing on my current situation. Hoping someone can lend a hand on this. Right an long post, so I hope I have given enough info.
I have been keeping a real tight eye on levels etc, as you can see below over these past 3 weeks, which can be seen in the diary table.
Strain: Sativa Hybrid - Amnesia Haze
System: Wilam8 – Clay balls in 11ltr pots using blue drip feeders
Light: 400W HPS
Extraction: 125mm Rhino Thermostatic Fan set @ 24degress C
Nutes: Plagron Hydro A + B, Plagron ph-MIN, Plagron PureZym (Add in Week 5 Only)

Room Fan Free Standing Rotating.
Feeding Timer: 15mins every 2 hours.
Initial Clone Unit – took 14 f the best.
So after a few weeks in the aeroponic unit, they were moved to the Wilma on a straight 12/12 light timing.

So on to my problem. As you can see in the below table. Over the course of this period my pH and PPM has fluctuated up and down, but mostly it has an upward trend.
PH: From reading and advice from a few emails back and forth to Plagron, I should expect my pH to rise and require pmMIN been added. So not too worried about that……or should I be?
PPM: I can’t seem to work out why my PPM has this upward trend. I did the “hand test” for distance for the 400W lamp so I think this is ok. From the pics you can see the fan leaves are brave and large, If there are 2 touching each other, there is water in between, so it appears they do “transpire” a little? Could this be it?
As a result of this PPM issue I have been underfeeding them as I don’t want to burn them. The plan was to a set level, and if it dropped, I would top it up to same level again for 1 week, then clean/top off res, reset all and start with a slightly higher value, repeating until got at a level where they were consuming the same amount of water/nutes.
But as you can see I have not been able to achieve this which leads me to the community for some help.
Water: Have noticed the water had gone a little cloudy, not much of a smell other than water in a bucket for a week smell. This has only happen in the last week. Only happened this week so I am assuming this is down to the Pure Zym as that’s the only difference.
