Hey guys! I'm currently a MMPR paitent have been for about a little under a year now I signed up with the clinic "simcoe holistic health" because my family doc wouldn't sign me. I had to pay these guys 367$ when I first signed up I really liked the guys over there, but it seems there was a change of owners and it's very slopply ran now and I don't enjoy the people that speak to me there. I called in asking if my current doc (simcoe doc) would sign my ACMPR forms as I tried sending them myself to HC with an "original" document and it got sent back because I needed my doc to fill out a new form. No matter what I said or offered he declinded it all and told me they won't be dealing with anything to do with ACMPR at all and the doctor that script me is totally against the "growing your own laws".. I feel this is super against my rights as paitent and im in need a of proper doctor! If you guys know of anyone please let me know!!
thanks!

@Brewery It's not just myself they are refusing ALL and ANYTHING to do with ACMPR... Pretty sad if you ask me I got all rappy an pissed with them told them that they are just here to collect an profit off sick paients and since that's how they operate I would pay an extra 100$ to have that medical doc filled. They just kept refusing and told me they wouldn't even be allowed to accepte money.. Such a joke! It's okay for him to prescribe me to an LP but when I wanna not spend all my money I make on my meds and have easy way of access to my meds its a no-no and oh so bad

Sorry your going through such a shit show man. Most of us here recommend you just do what you need to do and grow. Hopefully you can or will anyway.
Many many of us have been here 2 years or more fighting for you and I to be able to do what we need to do.
We have been doing our best at insurrection and advising folks to BOYCOTT any LP activities.
Strength in numbers we hope.
Folks don't buy...they fold up....hard message to get to stick though.

Is there a list of these sorts of clinics that either wont sign or charge crazy amounts of money in order to get signed? I hope my clinic does not turn into one of these.

Why use a clinic? Ask your GP to sign. If he doesn't want to ..request a doctor that will!
He has not choice but to follow your request!!! DEMAND IT!
If that doesnt work...you have your ticket already due to the fact no one would sign...

this list of paying doctors?!?!?!.......... Only tells me that people are lazy or they dont have a legit excuse to have a legal right to grow or burn.
All BS really .............Everyone should be able to grow!

I asked my GP almost a yr ago who referred me to the clinic. This clinic worked out fine; however, when I requested a document for ACMPR, I had to pay almost $200 for a 1 page document and that original prescription would not be extended until my next renewal appointment.

What do you mean about my ticket because no one would sign?

I have a legit reason to use.

@herbs1 I was given my "Orginal" Medical document from my LP it even stated it was original on the top and that form wasn't legit enough for HC it has to be a completly new medical document filled out. HC has a sample one on the site that you can have a doc fill my problem is I don't have a doc to fill it!

I think GB means that if you have a legit diagnosis then you have a right to use MMJ supported by the SCOC. We won that right hands downs. It was for fair access. And now HC is saying yes to it as well...not that they had much choice really.
GB is saying just because your Doctor doesn't agree is not a reason for you to be left out. A judge will look at your legit med condition and say ...yes your good to do this.
So don't let your lack of a signing doctor stop you. Keep your paper work in order and get busy growing.

PS ...he's grumpy because he's sick of telling people this message who are basically not going to listen.
Plus his underwear is way too small for him and they are filled with pink insulation....there by causing a unsightly rash on his weiner. Similar to this....

Thanks for explaining it and why he is so grumpy. Anyways, if my dr at the cannabis clinic decides to massively increase prices for a script and I continue to grow with no renewal, your saying that its all good and legal?

As long as you have no changes to make such as change of address or something like that. But you better have on hand copies of your MMAR pink slip posted everywhere is my suggestion.

No not saying it's completely legal...saying it's so gray right now this it's highly unlikely that if you are legit and had mmar status...that you'll be harassed at all. Unless other factors such as complaints or ratting you out by someone. Say a landlord or neighbor or ex GF.
If you're a legit patient and mmar pink holder....I'd go for it.

I have legit medical reasons but my gp refused. So I thought I'd try growing it instead. That was 6 months ago. First harvest 7oz. and in the jars. In hindsight I'm glad my dr said no because I don't want to be on anyone's radar. I understand it's not for everyone but if you have a houseplant, it's a little more work but totally worth it.

I strongly suggest not relying on the 'grayness' of the situation. You are inviting a situation that will have all your goods seized and confiscated and being offered a court summons that yes, you may win. I thought about this for 2 years... Hiding behind my pink slip because its 'what's right'. But if you are going that route just be prepared to cough up lawyer fees, and potentially loose your crop/equipment and maybe even some issues if you own it with mortgage or insurance (that Im not sure of). I spoke to law enforcement and while you are right about your right to grow, all they have is a 24 hour number that they can check the address with. If your address doesn't come up be prepared for the worst is my guess....If it were attached to your name rather then I would feel better but I really feel uneasy about not having the location registered. Those in the MMAR program have a tendency of feeling invisible and as much as I want to be that way too, I have calculated my risk/reward and for me its not worth it, everybody is different though.

You Probably don't recall the mmar letter ordeal where HC sent a large window envelope to all mmar patients clearly labelled 'medical marijuana access program'
They outed us all to our communities.
Hard to trust them. You gotta do what you gotta do to stay legal though, and the new system seems essentially the same as the old system. Until the changes come into play, whatever and whenever they will be.

i was reading that comment as "invincible" being auto corrected into "invisible" :)

My advice to anyone is to get yourself into the situation you personally feel comfortable with and conduct yourself with respect and courtesy when interacting with the authorities regardless of their attitude or position of entitlement.
