Help! my leaves are curling down

My leaves began curling down yesterday. I'm pretty sure its because they got too hot. I'm doing a CFL grow and the temps went into the upper 90's right around the lights. It remained about 75 in the rest of the room and fans kept air cirulating.

Let me know what you think is wrong

The lights usually have mylar panels above them but I took them down for pics.

i had the lights about an inch away for the first day and then moved them up as temps remainded pretty much uncontrollable and the leaves started to curl

the temp around the lights is usually between 82 and 90 and that is too high. the water temp in the dwc is only 66

there are three large round airstones (the expensive kind @ hydro store) and bubbles cover about 60 or 70 percent of the water surface. I think that I might need another airstone

anyone? i'm pretty sure that it is just heat stress from the brief high temps. there were two different times when the heat got into the 100's for about 10 minutes

Hey MC KUSH,

I am pretty sure those leaves are curling (acting soft) from overwatering.......
Nothing to do with heat..

more picture please :)

pH is 6.2 - - i'm about to go get a TDS meter. I think you may be right about the overwatering. That was my first guess but then a couple leaves burned up. I'm doing a DWC and I had the net pots too low and they got pretty wet. I raised them up and added another airstone to get more oxygen to the roots. What else can I do? I'll put pics up when I get back from the hydro store

ppm is 685 - I'm not sure exactly how old they are b/c i got them from a buddy but I'm pretty sure they're under 2 weeks. I'm using Dutch Master Gold Grow Nutes part A&B and they suggest 500 ppm the first week and 750 the second week. So I'm pretty sure that I have the right amount of nutes in there

here are some more pics - you can see where a few of the leaves were burned from the lights

all of my plants have some curling leaves, but the good news is that there has been some new growth over the last two days

because of heat issues, I had to remove mylar reflection panels that were above the cfls. they were trapping heat and causing my temps to rise at least 10 to 15 degrees

Is that plant inside of a rockwool cube? I am guessing t is. and the cube is totally saturated..? right.. Ideally the cube should be higher and visible...

Yes your PPM and ph sound ok..
you could lower your ph to 5.8

can you reduce the watering schedule.. ?
