I think your right, and this is my third after two failed attempts :wall:
and regretfully, I don't have a PH tester
If you use distilled water you should be ok on pH but it may be messed up with all them plants in that little reservoir. I go through about 3 gallons a week in my AG.

Guys, I think I have a problem here, today I discovered that the smallest plant (clearly under developed for some reason) had some sort of rot on top of the sponge, I attached a picture.
If your advise id to remove it, how could I do that with all the roots tangled up together?

PLEASE HELP !

I would just wipe i clean with something, and use something to cover it, those sponges are always wet, so when thee exposed to light for long periods of time, mold forms

Someone earlier in this thread advised me to turn off my AG otherwise I will get rot, is that what he meant?
Should I switch it off?

Isn't rot something serious to the plant and could kill it?

Thanx for your help

This is my second week into flowering, the lower leaves seem to be drying up, is that normal during flowering?

BTW I just discovered that I left one of the pods uncovered for a couple of weeks, so light went trough, could that be the reason?

Roots look good (fresh, bright)

attached a few pics to explain

this is my first time growing so go easy on me lol ive just recently taken my cuttings from out of the tank as the roots looked nice and strong for transplant. they was under a florescent light, which they was doing alright. a few days after the transplant i got them under a 400w hps which is probably about 4/5 feet above the plants. i have them on a 18/6 light cycle, also have a fan constanly blowing on the plants for vent. ive just been watering the plants as the soil should have enough nutes in for now. i dont know the PH as of yet. my problem is they look like they're curling on the ends slightly and also slightly yellow, is this light burn? growth seems slow too. if there's any advice or help someone can give it would be appriciated greatly. sorry about the pics, im not the best photographer aswell as grower lol

I had the same scare as well. I did some reading & sicc sent me some posts and yours doesnt look as bad as mine was.

Its prolly just the end of the plants life cycle and yellowing is normal. just keep an eye on your PH levels and make sure they dont go crazy to lock out your nute right now

Hello NinjaOZDuce, nice to hear from u again..
Is it ok to cut the damaged fan leaves? how damaged should the leaf be to have it cut of?
:peace:

yea what sicc said

i also found that they will eventually fall off themselves too. so if you arent sure then just give it a gentle pull and if it comes off, the plant was done with it anyways. I am learning how to listen to my plants now. they will discard most damaged leaves themselves. but if the leaf is really bad just clip it off

they look healthy. it may just be the strain. might be slightly slower. and do you have any "flowering lights"? or you just using the same lights from veg on 12/12?

the "flowering type lights" may have sped up the bud development as well for most people.

you should be fine. just be patient.

Have they shown sex yet? any pistils poppin?

Unfortunately, no red lights, the seeds are fem. and thank god I dont see any cajones.
But please correct me if I'm wrong, If you get the tiny seed looking thing under the stem of some of the leaves then it's male, but the female you get a node like thing above the stem of some of the leaves.. and I have alot of that:weed:

just reading the thread, looks like a good grow so far. Yellowing/burn is to be expected generally at the end of the plants life cycle so ide do what people say and check ph, maybe flush your res with some flush. Also, i dont know if i saw hairs in them but if your having issues tripping a bud cycle, make sure your plants are SLEEPING for 12 hours, no light!

Man those plants got way to big for that little Aero Garden you should have started flowering when they were like 6 inches tall really and they seems like they have a few different deficiencies as well have you been using any other nutrients besides what it came with cause they look like they could use a good boost that may be why u dont see any flowers yet it usually takes 10-20 days after flippnig the lights over depending on the strain also the light might not be intense enough so all those combined will cause a slower flower formation.

I think you're spot on, when I first started flowering I didn't have a timer, so the cycle wasn't accurate..
Good call dude..
