help me grow

Iam old time puffer from London.
I`ve just decided to do myself a grow.. lots for smokin, :joint:
some for selling.. lol
my house has a brick built shed at the bottom.. and i`ve just brought a grow cabinet to use.. pls have a look at this and tell me what you think peeps.
Its a G-kit COMBI unit.. its got three compartments. 1, flowering. 2, mother. 3, cloning.
i got it for less than half price off of e-bay.. lol £800 streling.. about $1600 dollars.. if sucessfull i`ll get anouther one just for flowering.

my first question is.. how many plants can i grow in the flowering bit. the size 78cm x 78cm or about 31ins x 31ins.. i intend to use a ebb and flow sytem and try the SOG approach..

I forgot to say that i`ll be using a 600w bulb with it.. and some fem seeds.
could anybody tell me whats the best medium to start my seeds in.. and whats the best growing medium. i want something that i can used a few times.. another thing is the water.. ive got a water filtrer jug which i use for drinking water.. would i be better off using this.. or stick to the tap water.. any help would be great..

Hey there, I use organic peat plugs or rockwool for my seeds once they are germinated. For that use the moist papertowel method. As for the water, I use tap water, let it sit out for at least 24 hours for the chemicals to evaporate, ph it and you are good to go. :mrgreen::peace:

Cheers for that.. i see you mentioned organic peat, i in tend to do a orgaic grow..
what the best medium and the best nutes any ideas would be appreiated..

I am using DNF (Dutch Nutrient Formula) now, great stuff. My first grow I used General Hydroponics, but it is very think and messy in the res. For my soil I am using a hydro nute too, Optimum. I don't start using nutes until they are at least a node high (one set of leaves). I have succuss with both the peat plugs and rockwool. Rockwool is cleaner. :mrgreen::peace:
